Author has written 86 stories for Kim Possible, and Harry Potter.

I realized I needed to write something here or be exposed as a Luddite.

"King in Yellow," if you don't recognize it, comes from an 1895 collection of short stories that influenced H.P. Lovecraft. As the holder of an earned Ph.D. from the school which served as the basis for Miskatonic University I felt some justification in laying claim to the nom de plume.

Go ahead, ask me a question about early church history. I dare you. But as an academic whore I'm willing to teach anything for which I can get paid -- geography, intro. to sociology, comp, public speaking, etc. Résumés available on request.

Anyone who can identify my more obscure cultural references realizes I've passed the half century. Those of you who miss the references have probably not

I was initially opposed to marking authors as 'favorites' or for alerts, but am rethinking my position. My fear had been that, as I looked at the profiles of other writers or those who sent in reviews, or the three people who have me in favorite author or on alert status, I found myself trying to psychoanalyze them based on their preferences. Sorry people, the result of having a psychologist for a father. Anyway, I decided I didn't want people trying to figure me out based on my favorites. What you might think about me might be just too creepy. The stories which appeared on my favorites list contained connections to my Best Enemies universe, and are here for the convenience of anyone who wishes to see them. I really do have more than these favorites. I plan to start having a list of authors who I want to receive alerts on, and may even break down and admits some favorites also.

When Season 4 was announced the writers had no plans to give Kim's mom a first name. Anne was the most popular name used by fanfiction writers, but I preferred Jean for Jean Smart, the voice actress in the role. Graduation gave her a name, and the majority won. I believe I have converted all references to Kim's mom from Jean to Anne. If you discover a story I've missed (unlikely) or a spot I missed and she is still Jean (likely) please leave a review or send me a PM telling me where. I'm happy to change it.

The Best Enemies universe may be complex enough to require an introduction. The first six stories comprise the original story arc and appeared in order. Since then stories have been set in different times and have not appeared in order. Here are the stories which have currently been written, or are relatively well thought out, in their order within the Best Enemies story line. TempestDash created the names of several old enemies of Team Go: Bella Negra, Obtinus, Serpent King, and Hellpike. I have fleshed them out to fit my own needs
NoDrogs created Kasy Ann and Sheki Go Possible in the story A Small Possibility. I have totally redone their origin to fit my own tastes. I have written So the Trauma so that it can serve as an introduction to the Best Enemies series - if you want a fast overview of the characters and their relationships with each other. If you start with So the Trauma be aware it has spoilers for several stories in the regular series. One person sent a personal message saying it does not work for an introduction - the characters are too much how I have matured them over years of their relationship and that it will only confuse potential readers - start reading from the first story and see how Kim, Shego, and the others came to be where they are by the time of Trauma.

Note - in an 'upgrade' FFN deleted some scene dividers. It didn't change all my stories, but affected several. It makes some early stories very choppy sounding. I need to either edit text so that they are no longer needed, or insert the new and approved scene divider.

Best Enemies - As Kim leaves high school she and Shego find their relationship becoming less professional and more personal. Taken down on May 28, 2007 - first anniversary of its appearance.

Best Enemies Redux - What I regard as a new and improved version started appearing on May 28, 2007. More Monique and Ron, with Season 4 references.

Cognitive Dissonance - Now in her freshman year of college, Kim wants to take her relationship with Shego to the next level. But college is a very different place from high school.

Before the Dawn - The events which ended CD have left Kim so crazy with grief she is not acting like herself. She cuts a deal with the devil. I dislike this, but was necessary for things I wanted to happen.

Grudge Matches - Kim's actions in BtD leave those around her in states of shock. First semester of Kim's sophomore year in college. The Lipsky and Load partnership is forged, each convinced he has gotten the better of the other.
Shego vs Betty Director - is actually chapter 10 of GM, published separately because it should be read after reading chapters 1-9 and 11.

Homecoming - With Shego out on bail Kim insists the pale woman try and make peace with her family, leading the two on a road trip.

Domus dulcis domus - Second semester of Kim's sophomore year. If they can solve the housing crisis Kim and Shego will be able to start life together -- and the old house is large enough to share with friends.

Ninjas in the House - Bonnie is NOT happy when Yori comes to visit Middleton. The final chapter is set after The Odd Couple

The Odd Couple - Kim twists Shego's arm in an effort to get things back on track with Felix and Justine.

Monkey Business I - Not written - Monkey Fist may be able to defeat his great enemy, Ron Stoppable, when he comes into possession of a powerful magic artifact.

Twenty-four Hours - With Hego missing the Wegos pressure Shego and Mego to help in the search.

Twentyfour Hour Appendix - Kim and Shego try to resolve problems left at the end of Twenty-four Hours.

Thanksgiving at the Big Table - You become an adult when your parents come to your house for Thanksgiving. Joss has moved in with her aunt and uncle while going to high school in Middleton.

The Blind Leading the Blind - Love and Justice are both said to be blind. But someone will need to keep both eyes open when Shego finally goes to trial.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T - Covers years of the Will Du and Monique relationship. It starts with their meeting in Cognitive Dissonance and continues through the time period of many later stories.

A Simple Jewish Wedding - As if any union of Kim and Shego could be a simple affair. Throw in Motor Ed and an unusual team will come to the rescue the ceremony. Set in the second semester of Kim's Jr. year.

Ron Time, Ron Place - Ron left the door open to demonstrate nothing happened. Open doors mean witnesses, and it isn't clear anyone believes him. Starts the morning after A Simple Jewish Wedding.

Team Possible II: It's in the Blood - An ancient evil threatens to destroy Kim, Ron, and Shego. Rescuing the trio will take a new Team Possible. About a month after A Simple Jewish Wedding.

Team Possible II: Doppelganger - What new form of life was spawned by the events of Team Possible II? Is Wade ready to face the horror of his first date? Starts as Team Possible II: It's in the Blood ends.

How Was Your Day, Dear? - Shego arrives home from the Egyptian mission in a foul mood. Kim is already home in a bad mood. They can take it out on each other or handle it like adults. What do you expect?

Monkey Business III - Ron, part-time Global Justice agent and part-time slacker, has finished the 5th year of his first four years in college. Monkey Fist's hatred of Mr. Stoppable has not changed - but some other things have. Set a few months after Equinox Carol, which should be read first. May be transformed into chapter 1 of Villain Chase, which will bring Kim and Ron up to date on old enemies.

A Dark and Stormy Night - Yes, it is Best Enemies Universe, trust me and finish reading it.
