Update 4/5/09: Okay. as you will have noticed, I haven't updated Rainbow Of Grey in about five weeks. Feel free to leave me angry PMs threatening to cut off important body parts. It might help me shift my lazy butt.
If any of you are interested, I have been suffering severe writer's block. Everything I write just feels forced. Also, having had an extremely lazy time of it for the last eighteen months (stressful, but lazy nonetheless) suddenly half the NHS have developed a keen interest in my mental health. Ugh. Also, I'll start attenting a dayservice to replace school, which will continue during holidays, so I'm not even going to have the summer off! Having been out of school (and pretty much social interactions in general) for a year and a half, I guess I can't really complain. But, I will try and update RoG as soon as possible. I do apologise for disappearing on you guys. Feel more sorry for my readers over on Fictionpress, they haven't heard from me since early January!

About My Writing: Well, if you've read anything I've written, you'll probably realise that I try and convey as much as I can with as few words as possible. My prose can get rather dreamy, I think; it's been likened to poetry on more than one occasion. So far most of my stuff is gen.

My Stories

Harry Potter -
A Little Child To Lead Them - Series that begins with the oneshot Fairytale and continues in the chapter story Rainbow Of Grey. Gen Harry/Snape centric story. Can get hypnotic if you stare too long. Incomplete.

The Marauders: A Tribute - Self explanatory. Kind of uplifting in a bitter-sweet sort of way. My first Harry Potter fanfiction. Remus's section is particularly good. Complete.

Runaway - Songfic. Sirius's thoughts on leaving Grimmauld Place. Complete.

Humanity - Stream of consciousness type thing. The effect Azkaban has on people. Bellatrix centric, although Sirius makes a cameo. Complete.

Beauty In Green - Ah, the first of my obsession with the acerbic Potions Master. Unrequited Severus/Lily, although can be interpreted as friendship. Quick oneshot that witnesses Severus's love for her, from their childhood to the moment of his death. Happy ending (I know, I was shocked too). Complete.

Skipping Rocks - Ooh, I'm very proud of this one. A moment shared between Regulus Black and Lily Evans. Gen. Complete.

To Be A Hufflepuff - I really like Hufflepuff house. A drabble on why they are not just the 'duffers', the 'spares'. Complete.

Reflection - The result of trailing through the internet trying to find a decent girl!Harry story. So I wrote one. Bizarrely, it also includes boy!Harry. Alternate worlds can sometimes touch, just for the briefest of moments. Complete.

Epithet - Lily; what she gave up when she joined the magical world, and what she lost from that world. Complete.

Spark - My first attempt at romance. H/G. Short, sweet little oneshot on each of Ginny's seperate boyfriends, and why exactly they never matched up to Harry. Complete.

Drabbles; Harry & Snape -

Hatred - "To cast an Unforgiveable, you have to mean it." How Severus conjured up the hate necessary to kill Dumbledore. Complete.

All He Sees - Severus Snape never saw Harry Potter. Not once. Complete.

In The Eyes - Snape nevers looks Harry Potter in the eyes. To look him in the eyes would be damning. Complete.

Dragonball Z --
Who Was That? - My first foray into the world of fanfiction, Bulma/Vegeta centric. Focuses on Bulma's thoughts at the World Martial Arts Stadium when she witnessed Majin Vegeta kill all those people. Complete

The Forgotten - A tribute to the forgotten warriors - Yamcha, Tien, etc - mainly Krillen centric. Complete

Weakness - The obligitary Final Atonement story that every Vegeta fangirl worth her salt must write. I do think I took a different spin on it though. Complete

That Night - Poemfic. Sort of. Inspired by a friend who wrote a poem I thought summed up the relationship between Vegeta and Bulma during the infamous three years. Complete.

Under Ice - Stories focusing on Vegeta as a child/adolescent under Frieza. Stories in the series are Flames, Distorted and Repeat. Can be read in any order. Hey, I get any more feedback, it might kickstart that good old DBZ obsession of mine, and I might add more stories, but as it is at the moment, it's a trilogy.
