Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.

Alright, I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea what to say about my self. I have no interest in writing my entire life's story, and don't flatter myself that any one else out there would have any interest in reading it. So in the sake of simplicity, I will give you the basic facts, or something relatively close.

Wow, I needed to update this so I have.

Name: El Capitan K-rage (No, I don't expect you to believe this is my real name, but give me a break. I like to maintain a certain amount of mystery surrounding my person).

Age: 20

Gender: I am woman, hear me roar.

Political Affiliation: Independent

State of Residency: It depends, Tennessee officially because I changed it so I would not have to pay car insurance while at school in California, which is my state of residency during school, and Virginia is where I grew up (therefore it has a special place in my heart). Plus I still live there when I visit my mom.

Astrological Sign: Pisces (Go fish.)

Favorite color: Blue

Music: Everything. I am not kidding, I like all genres. This does not hold true for every band (cough Nickelback cough), but I am very eclectic and I will listen to just about anything. Some examples from my CD collection include: Green Day, Weezer, Metallica, Joan Osbourne, Bob Marley, Sting, Feist, The Darkness, Tristan Prettyman, My Morning Jacket, the list goes ever on...

Instruments I play: Flute, piano, and guitar

Books: I lean toward Sci-fi and fantasy. Although like music, I will give just about anything a try. Some favorites are: The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R Tolkien, The Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. Leguin, The Dragonriders of Pern Series by Anne McCaffery, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda, anything by Isaac Asimov, and so many more. As you can tell reading and music are two great passions in my life.

Movies: I like Action/Adventure movies. Sometimes a little romance. Definitely some Sci-fi. (But usually because they are so bad it's hilarious).Love me some comedy as well. Examples: Terminator(classic, just classic), Ladyhawke, Lord of the Rings, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (one of my all-time favorites), A Fish Called Wanda, Office Space, Gladiator, Captain Blood, The English Patient, Elizabeth etc.,etc.

And last, but not least, some of my favorite quotes:

I frankly felt like the reception we received on the way in from the airport was very warm and hospitable. And I want to thank the Canadian people who came out to wave -- with all five fingers -- for their hospitality.
-- George W. Bush

I'm not afraid to die. I just don't want to be there when it happens.
-- Woody Allen

Janet Jackson's 'wardrobe malfunction' cost CBS Five hundred and Fifty grand this week. Boy, what a tough week for the network. First, the false documents on President Bush's National Guard record and now this. CBS says they have learned their lesson: no more trying to expose boobs.
-- Bill Maher

I think I mentioned to Bob Geldof I could make love for eight hours. What I didn't say was that this included four hours of begging and then dinner and a movie.
-- Sting

My choice early in life was either to be a piano-player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference.
-- Harry S. Truman (circa 1962)

The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working when you get up in the morning, and doesn't stop until you get to the office.

--Robert Frost

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
-- Albert Einstein

Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. -- Isaac Asimov

A bookstore is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking.
--Jerry Seinfield

If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door.
-- Paul Beatty

I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally.
-- W.C. Fields

The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds the most discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but 'That's funny...’

--Isaac Asimov

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.

--Albert Einstein

Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper.

--Robert Frost

At this moment I am in the process of writing a story (as I'm sure you can tell). I'm trying to update at least once or twice a month. Sorry it's not a lot, but life is a little hectic right now since I am now a junior in college. Woo-hoo.
