I think she has captured the most wonderful expression on Cloud's face. Even as he is being driven away to safety, there is indision showing in his eyes, a look of longing. And even the wind, caressing his longer locks, makes it appear as if his hair were waving a farewell of its own.

I absolutely adore reading well written stories. The kind that drags the reader in and grips them by the throat. The one's that make you fall in love with the characters and feel their pain, their sorrow, their joy. They don't have to be word perfect. They don't even have to have flawless spelling. You just know when a story is good by the passion the writer puts into their work.

I have found several writers like this. One's who make me practically beg on hands and knees for updates to their stories. This is the link to DrkDreamers original story, Nicea. It is about the life of a young Roman boy, sold into slavery on his eleventh birthday to save his family from ruin. It is a dark, hard story to read. DrkDreamer tells it how it would have been, no if's, no but's, no maybe's. She makes no excuses for keeping it real, and that's what makes her an excellent story writer, in my opinion.

Please be aware, that DrkDreamer will be taking Nicea down on March 24th, 2009, for re-editing. There is no promise made that she will be putting it back up. So hurry to read it now, while you still can. Or forever kick yourself for missing out on a wonderful story!

Yay, DrkDreamer has started putting up another original story. It's called Collateral Damage, and tells the harsh harrowing tale of young would-be-priest, Talya, and his enforced slavery. Caught hiding away during the taking of the Temple, he is 'given' to Micah, the leader of the Grogeni army that attacked. Like all of DrkDreamer's stories, it is harsh and cruel, but so well written you cannot but help want to keep reading more.

What can I say about this author, other than just how amazing she is! So versatile. From her you will find not only original works of art, but also fan fics from Buffy and Harry Potter... not to mention the many, many others she's written for tv shows and movies. Yes, there IS yaoi in among her stories, but many of them contain male/female loving too...Like I said, she truly is amazing.

Sadly, Scribe seems to have stopped updating the stories at her AdultFanFiction site, which is a real shame as I would have loved to have known what happened at the end of Genteel Obsession. But DON'T let that put you off. Personally, I think it might be a lack of readers leaving reviews there, which is so discouraging. Even I have been disheartened with the very poor response my stories got there. Not like this site, eh...where it feels more like hearing from my favourite friends when I get a review... :)

Hello! You've come to this page because you'd like to know a little bit about me, huh?

Okay then!

Well I'm female, have been for as long as I can remember.

I live on a little island called England, which is nice.

My hobbies are reading, (fav author Agatha Christie, have all 78 of her crime novels!) crosswords, logic puzzle solving and cross-stitching! God, how boring does that sound? Lmao. Oh, I've even had a dabble at water colouring, but...I'll stick to story writing I think.

I love Final Fantasy, needless to say, and I have all the games except for #11, simply because I don't want to play on-line. My favourite one is #10, but only because they talk. The storyline is better on #7! And yay...I finally got my hands on a copy of Final Fanstasy #3!! How neat is that? Mind you, I had to sweet-talk my hubby into buying me a Ninedo Ds Lite just to get the game...He is sooo good to me. And, once Crisis Core hits our shores, I'll be kissing my way to a PSP too, lol...

My pet hate is flies. I can't stand them, they freak me out, yuk! And I prefer silver to gold...don't worry, long standing argument with my other half! About the only thing we ever argue about, lol.

Anyway, my latest craze, writing wise, is yaoi...I simply love it! Now, if I could only be as good as P. L. Nunn at it, I would be a happy author lol...I highly recommend her Bloodraven story...Still, if you read one of my yaoi stories, and you just happen to like it, please...feel free to leave me a review and say so...its all encouragement! And I do try to reply to each and every reviewer personally...unless you happen to be named Anon...I can never seem to find that person!
