1/16/07: Today, I had a very strange epiphany. I was reading some Naruto stuff, with Kisame in it. I just suddenly started thinking about how similar he is to Ryuk (from Death Note), especially if you consider Itachi similar to Raito. It was so weird, I just had to say something about it...
2/2/07: I found another comparison! yet again, it had to do with Raito, but this time we are going to compare him to Kyoya (Host Club) If anyone has read the flash back, they would see that he used to pretend to be all nice and stuff, until Tamaki made him act himself, and he showed that he was actually pretty cruel and psycotic. Any one else see the similarities here?
8/7/07: A comment on harems in Naruto: Harems don't work for the simple fact of ratios. There is about 2 guys to every girl in Naruto, and so if one guy has a harem that has about 5 girls in, or even just two, there is definitely not enough girls to go around, making the rest of the population gay, which I don't mind. However, even if all of the harem became pregnant and had kids, because of the shortage of other females who can have children, the only people the children could get together with is their own siblings... which is really gross. Reverse Harems however do work, yet again because of the 2:1 ratio. There are enough guys to go around that if you are missing a couple it really wouldn't make a difference.
6/8/08:...I'm actually updating this thing...what a complete shocker. I have realized how sad it is that I have not updated this is nearly a year, and as such am taking the time to do so. One of the reasons(read:excuses) I never update even though I'm on this site all the freaking time is I am addicted to reading. I can honestly say I read on this site for at least 4 hours a day, thought it usually exceeds even that. Sad, I know. But because of all that time, I have developed a strategy to finding well written fics. 1. You have to at least be slightly interested in the story based on the summary. 2. Look at the story length. Is there at least 1,000 words per chapter? If not, the story probably isn't worth your time. 3. In order to insure it is well written before reading it, look at the review ratio. Are there at least 10 reviews per chapter? if it is less than that, it usually isn't very good, with occasional exceptions due to the category or listing the story is in. It may not be read y enough people to get a large amount of reviews. Otherwise, the more reviews the better. I take the ACT Saturday, but after that, I am free to write more often. Goodbye my loves.
