Author has written 21 stories for Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Hi! Okay. Here's the deal. I have been - and still am - a fan of many different series but I only write for a very select few. If a series completely fails to give the characters the dignity, skills, background and/or closure that I feel is deserved - that's when I get inspired to write. Thus I do tend to favor the minor/overlooked/underdog types but there are exceptions. Currently I write mostly action/adventure with a dash of pretty much anything else(satire, humor, philosophy, suspense, fantasy, sci-fi, horror...) that works for the specific story. I aim for quality in my writing. I hope to show that stories can be geniunely interesting without also being r-rated. However I do have one story, Poked, which is currently rated R on some sites and M on others. It is actually safe for kids to read but I don't know if kids should read it. That's all. Just want to clear up some confusion. I have been writing for a long time. I have written under many pen names. This account is DoraMouse but you might notice that some of the older stories here are by an April CK. Both names are mine. If I'd kept my really early fics or if I felt compelled to share any of my attempts at original fiction or poetry then there would be other author names here as well - and those would be me, too. Please be patient. I don't always update very quickly. There are various reasons for this, lack of stable internet connection and a semi-busy real life being two of the main ones. Hope that you enjoy these stories. The latest: 3/18/13: Eclipse has now been completely reformatted and has a new chapter up! Yay! Enjoy! More chapters are pending, hopefully soon but the going is very slow. Have been keeping busy with other stuff as well. 2/20/13: Happy belated Chinese New Years! Understand that the snake year is supposed to be good for writers, hrm. That would be nice. We'll see. Happy belated Valentines Day as well! Hope that everyone got to spend some time doing something that they loved. Okay. Update time. The Yamucha Chronicle has been successfully reformatted and revised. Poked has been reformatted and has two new chapters up. Eclipse is just a much larger story so it might take a little while to finish reformatting it all - especially since reformatting seems to invite re-reading and revising - but I am working on it and, barring any unforseen disasters, hope to have at least one new chapter up soon. Capsule Corpse has kinda taken a back seat to my other works in progress - Eclipse in particular - but I am also still working on that story and hope to have the reformatted version up before too long. 2/6/2013: Reformatting has turned out to be more tricky than anticipated. Got the bold and italics worked out, got the text to show up as more than a single huge paragraph... But the dividers that I have between the different parts within a chapter are being troublesome. Hrm. May have to get rid of those, I guess. 2/1/2013: Wow. It has been awhile. Hope everyone is doing okay! The Yamucha Chronicle, chapters 11-13, were revised today. Updates to works in progress are coming soon. Poked, Eclipse and Capsule Corpse all have finished chapters offline, waiting to be added. Thing is... It's been so darn long since I've been here that Fanfiction.net has changed the document formats that they accept. So... I'm gonna have to reformat everything before I can even add the new stuff.
