Author has written 22 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Harry Potter, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Doctor Who, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy X, His Dark Materials, and Torchwood. About Me Name: Pied Flycatcher Description: Small, feathery, black and white. If you are at all inclined to find out more about me, I have a LiveJournal. There are a few bits and pieces posted there which you won't find here. -x- My Stories I usually write for Final Fantasy VII, but I like other Final Fantasy games too, and I've dabbled in other fandoms like Doctor Who and Harry Potter. Most of my stories focus on particular characters or friendships. Romance is fun, but personally, I prefer genfic. There are also some themes I'm interested in which tend to crop up more than once: nature, conservation and the environment; life and death, particularly the spiritual realm (I don't believe in souls, but I do like writing about them in fiction); and philosophy, particularly ethics and free will. I think that probably explains my abiding love for FFVII and His Dark Materials, which are both chock full of these themes. They push my literary buttons. XD Even though I've never written anything specifically for His Dark Materials, it has influenced my writing a lot, and if you're familiar with it, you'll probably recognise that influence. 10/5/09: I edited Mercenaries. It is now 30 chapters long instead of 50. I haven't actually cut much though, just restructured it. I only deleted one scene completely, and it was an utterly superfluous one, I promise you won't miss it. :P Mostly, I've made small edits to correct things that were bugging me. Sorry if anyone was in the middle of reading it when the order all changed! -x- Reviewing Naturally, I like getting reviews. I am happy to accept constructive criticism - I'm not adverse to editing, particularly when it comes to WiPs. I like reviews which are just positive too - nothing wrong with an ego boost. ;) When it comes to giving reviews, I try to be honest, and sometimes offer constructive comments.
