Hello, just a few things about the hand holding the quill (although I don't feel comfortable disclosing my real name on the internet):
I attend a college prep school in Phoenix, Arizona, class of '08. Nearly all of my time not spent on the incredible amount of homework is spent dancing 10+ hours a week. I have been a dancer 15 years and take ballet, tap, jazz, modern, acrobatics, hip-hop, and musical theatre. I have also been playing the piano for eight years and learning music theory. Don't ask me how I juggle all of these things, because I still have no idea. I don't have a clue what I want my major in college to be becasue I love so many different things: English, Math, Science, etc. Although, I did get the spectacular and far-fetched idea that I could combine my talents for writing, music, and dancing into becoming the first person to write, compose, and coreograph a musical. Too bad I'm not Wonder Woman.
As for my other interests...
Music: I have a VERY large variety, stretching from classical to hard rock, and everything inbetween. (except rap, can't spell crap without rap).
Books: Harry Potter is my passion, along with Lord of the Rings, all Shakespeare and Jane Austen, To Kill A Mockingbird, Jane Eyre, and many many more.
Movies: Lord of the Rings is my all time favorite, but also Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pride and Prejudice, Moulin Rouge, Narnia, James Bond, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Italian Job, Pirates of the Carribean, Finding Nemo, etc.
TV: CSI rocks! (but only the original and NY: Horatio from Miami makes me want to shoot myself). Also Lost, House M.D., Gilmore Girls, So You Think You Can Dance?, the entire network of Fuse, and of course, Late Night with Conan O'Brian.
Ships: Heron! (Harmonians = Delusional). Sandle (as for GSR: Sara is a dirty whore and Grissom is a skank). Alligory (love knows no age). And of course, M&M (also known as DL). If you don't understand these terms, be glad you're not as much of a geek as I am.
By the way, did I mention my HUGE obsession with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings (I have a pointy ear like an elf!) Ask me any HP question and I garauntee to know the answer, as many of my friends have experienced.
A little bit about me as a writer: When I write something, it's usually only after a lot of preparation and brainstorming. An idea will sit in my mind developing until I can finally formulate it into something worthwhile. I'll imagine scenes and dialouge in my head until the story is almost entirely there. Then it finally goes down on paper (or a word document). This is probably why you may not see a plethora of stories from me. I am meticulous and examine every word of my writing before allowing anyone to read it. If you find any grammatical errors in my writing: bravo! (As an editor I have been called 'the angel of grammar'). I love constructive criticism and praises. It is such a joy to know that someone has thought your writing worth their time. Fanfics are mostly just an excuse for me to vent my frustration on not seeing two characters get together. I write RP's with my friend just for fun. My true passion is writing stories that are my own creation entirely.
One of my best friends in 'real life' is fellow fanfic author Reynards, whom I adore to pieces :) You can thank her for getting me into fanfiction by making me edit all her stories, hehehe.
If you have made it through all this, congratulations! You have now had a glimpse of what occupies my very unique mind most of the time.
