Name: Tally Live Journal user name: musical_junkie I'm 19. I am a sophomore at a women's college near Atlanta. I have lots of fandoms, lots of ships, and lots of unfinished fanfiction. I have unpublished (and incomplete) stories in a wide variety of fandoms. Who knows? I may get around to posting them someday. Perhaps even boost the number of fics in some of my smaller fandoms (Northern Exposure, American Dreams, Wonderfalls, etc). I am an '07 and '08 NaNoWriMo winner. I'm going for it again in '09. I collect gnomes, watch too much TV, and occasionally make crossword puzzles in my spare time. I would list all of my fandoms, but that might scare you. However, you can see which fandoms I have written in before and know that my fics hardly represent 10 of the fandoms in which I participate. I change obsessions on a regular basis, adding a good number of ships to my list every time I do. Thusly, I have a very large list of ships, and, for the same reason as my list of fandoms, I will not be posting it here, either. I can, however, give you an idea of what I ship in my more mainstream fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I have a lot of BtVS ships, but the only one worth mentioning is Spuffy, since all of my other ships are pretty much secondary and canon. I do not ship Buffy/Angel. While I don't hate the pairing, I just prefer Spuffy. Harry Potter: Harry/Ginny. Ron/Hermione...if I want to read canon-type fics. In terms of slashy and/or more non-canon pairings... Harry/Draco. Percy/Oliver. Dean/Seamus. Neville/Luna. Crabbe/Goyle. Harry/Ron. Hermione/Ginny. I'll pretty much read anything except Harry/Hermione, Snape/Harry or Snape/Hermione. (And even then, I'd never say never). The Office: Jim/Pam. Michael/Holly. Dwight/Angela. I have quite a few lesser ships in this fandom, but, for the most part, I ship canon. MASH: This is a hard one. I've decided that I slash Trapper/Hawkeye like burning, but that I also ship Margaret/Hawkeye, too. My theory is that Hawk went gay for Trapper, and, when he left, he straightened back out for Hot Lips. This makes a lot of sense in my head. The main thing is that I just don't see him with BJ, because Beej is so devoted to his wife. Veronica Mars: While I love me some LoVe, I have to give props to DoVe. Lamb/Veronica is totally my guilty pleasure pairing. I actually starting drawing a DoVe comic, but then I remembered that I can't draw to save my life, so the project was pretty much scratched. However, the basic storyline has been remixed into a fic entitled "Night Watch," which you can find here. Bones: Like pretty much everyone else who has ever seen more than 5 minutes of the show, I ship Booth/Brennan like nobody's business. You don't even know. Also, Hodgins/Angela and a few other menial ships that are hardly worth mentioning because no one ever writes fic for them. How I Met Your Mother: HIMYM is far from an overwhelming fandom on this site, but over on LJ, it's got quite a following. And I, like most everyone, ship Barney/Robin something serious. I honestly ship brOTP like a bonfire. This is for serious. I also think that Lily and Marshall are the cutest couple in the history of television. While I do ship quite a bit, and I prefer to read stories centered around said ships, I will read any pairing (seriously ANY pairing in any of my fandoms) as long as the story makes the relationship realistic. Giles/Xander? House/Taub? Lorelai/Christopher? (Okay, maybe not that last one). I'll read it as long as it's lengthy and gives a REASONABLE explanation for the characters being together...and by reasonable I don't mean "Snape has always been in love with Neville because Snape has a clumsiness fetish" or "Jim slept with Angela because one day he realized that Pam wasn't religious enough for him." I mean something along the lines of "Lucille 2 hires Bob Loblaw to handle her accounts. Bob, who doesn't know about her Vertigo, is confused when she begins to swoon after he accidentally bumps into her, mistaking her illness for flirting." (Okay, so that was a really bad example, but still). I have a number of other fandoms, many of which can be seen on my Beta profile.
