Author has written 15 stories for Pokemon. (starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight,) Hi. Well, uh. I'm one of the somewhat-ancient entities that joined too late to see the age of fandom-birth and was around while the review button was still painlessly inconspicuous. I'm settled quite comfortably in a somewhat-inconspicuous corner of the pokemon fandom, and very much like the Jirachi Wishmaker movie, the original Mystery Dungeon game, and the entirety of the manga up to the end of the Emerald arc. Everything on here is experimental, since I'm not much of a writer, really. I make up bits of stories in fragments of time based on incomplete knowledge, though the trend running through almost everything I write is that it's alternate-universe bordering original fic if you happen to miss my obscure referencing (especially the few scraps of poetry I dare to post). It's just messing around with formatting and perspectives and trying to get my point across. But it's fic, and that's all that counts... right? When I look for something to read it's preferably something epic that keeps the balance nicely between world-building/scene-setting and plot/character development. There's not much to do during the interludes during which plotbunnies have gone on holiday, so it's also nice to have a couple almost-pointless drabbles around that don't do much of anything except open a window into normalcy (which, incidentally, seems to be quite lacking around here. Not that it's a bad thing). recent update: erm, if I've ever put AR/alternate reality anywhere in the a/n or summary of a fic, please read that as Alternate Universe. It, ah, required of me three or four years to figure out the difference. I'd correct the stories individually, if it wasn't actually likely that I'd end up deleting them. XD (It seems that no one liked or hated or anything-ed my latest story enough to leave a review, so I have come to the conclusion that it isn't really the sort of thing people read and have done the obvious. No records or backup copies pending editing anywhere, promise.) also, major exam next year + current less-than-awesome grades = hiatus. So long, farewell, and thanks for dropping by. -within winter's grace (I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight.) | |||||||||||
