Author has written 4 stories for Van Helsing, Final Fantasy X, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, and Harry Potter. Hello, yeah. I can't keep my profile straight anymore. Oh well. My name is Vlad Cougar. Not really it's Heather but I hate that name so Vlad Cougar or Vlad or Cougar would do you good. Lol. I am a 16 year old girl going into the 12th grade or my last year of high school. Kinda sad really. Oh well, I do like to write stories just you will never see them. Lol. I will write, I have gotten better. So hopefully you will see me update periodically somehow. I share a computer with 6 other people so it is hard for me to update every single day or to write a story. I was promised a laptop for my Graduation present. So yeah be patient with me. FYI - That profile pic, isn't me. xD Basic Things About Me: Name: Vlad Cougar, Vlad, Cougar I like a lot of things but the reason I am here is to read my favorite pairings doing something together. >.> Not that but you know..in love or something. xD But yeah here are the pairings: Anime Pairings: Blood+: Haji/Saya Movie Pairings: Batman, The Dark Knight: Joker/Rachel VideoGame Pairings: Devil May Cry: Virgil/Lady More Info: If you want to contact me, my e-mail address is vladcougar@aol.com, so yeah. xD http://vladcougar.deviantart.com/ That up there is my DA page...it's me of course if you can't tell by the name. If you put in dothack.org, you will come up with a .hack fansite that I am listed too. If you want to join just say Silabus sent ya! xD Also...here to us, by my friend BLOOD-and-LUST-87 (on Deviantart).."The Guide to the Ultimate Jokachel Fan's Defense". "The Guide to the Ultimate Jokachel Fan's Defense" (Joker/Rachel Pairing) by Blood and Lust Argument #1: The Joker killed Rachel Dawes, so that means he HATES her. Response: Bull-freaking-CRAP. The Joker will kill anyone and anything if he thinks it will further his cause, and he just so happened to know that Harvey was weak enough to crumble if Rachel died. Aaaand, he was right. Hell, he wanted to kill BATMAN before he decided he was "too much fun", so does that mean he hated Batsy, too? I don't think so. If anything, I think he admired Rachel. The Joker is a very intimidating man, so it was probably refreshing to have Rachel fight back while telling his scar story, because something tells me that he's accustomed to people cowering in fear of him. Because of his admiration, he told her "A little fight in you...I like that." In addition, people think the Joker "hated" Rachel because he couldn't remember her name during the hospital scene. WRONG AGAIN. If you'll listen closely, J started saying "Ra...", but then Harvey cut in with the infamous "RACHEL!!" (lulz), so the Joker DID know Rachel's name, but was cut off before he could finish his train of thought. Also, J is a very frank and open person, so when he told Harvey "So when I say that you and your girlfriend was nothing personal, you know I'm telling the truth", I completely believe him. I don't think he had a vendetta against Harvey or Rachel, but they just so happened to serve as a great ploy in the greater scheme of things. My Response: -.- He kills anyone...I mean yeah. I have to agree to her with that. I mean, he did kill his minions after some point, didn't he? =D SEE I'M RIGHT?! Also, if he hated her I think he wouldn't go "A little fight in you...I like that." He would just killed her on the spot, wouldn't he? =/ Argument #2: The Joker couldn't be with Rachel, because he and Batman secretly have feelings for each other! Also, it's Christian Bale and Heath Ledger...that is like, SO hot, zomg!! Response: OMG, PUKE, LAME, NO. I am SORRY, but that is the DUMBEST thing I have EVER heard. Anyone who bases a pairing on actor appearance is just...GUH!! Bruce Wayne could never, ever, ever, ever have a secret desire for the Joker, and that is FINAL, fangirls!! I HAVE SPOKEN!! For one thing, I know that people enjoy pairing people up who are completely different from one another, but this is a pairing that I find completely off-the-wall. For starters, the Joker KILLED the love of Bruce's life, so excuse me if I laugh at the idea of him wanting to bang the man who completely ruined his dreams of a "normal" life. And the Joker? No. I don't think he's secretly wanting to jump Batsy either, and you know why? It's simple: I, myself, have a little rivalry going on in my life, and I LOVE to mess with my rival (she's a girl). I don't hate her, but I definitely do NOT like her, and I highly enjoy getting the upperhand over her. Sound familiar? It should, because my "relationship" with this girl reminds me of the Joker/Batman dynamic (except without the good vs evil thing lol). Both me and this girl like to mess with each other, and occasionally "fight dirty", which is similar to how J attacks B. So according to a fangirl's STUPID logic, I secretly want to bang my rival... OMGNONONONONO! When it's put in that perspective, don't you realize how ridiculous the Joker/Batman pairing sounds? J's just trying to have fun (trust me, it IS fun to get the upperhand over your rival), and B's just trying to stop him. There is absolutely NOTHING sexual going on there. Nothing. At. ALL. If you'll notice, the only time J got even remotely "sexual" was when he was leaning out of the cop car after Rachel's death. I don't think of the Joker as a sexual being, because he almost seems asexual since he gets off on inanimate things. Blood, chaos, destruction...that is what "turns him on", not Bats in Kevlar suits. T_T My Response: (goes to the other room and pukes) T.T Why?...I don't swing that way about anyone! x.x Sorry if I offend anyone but seriously?! No! Man/Woman is more my thing. Argument #3: The Joker can't like Rachel, because he's in loooove with Harley Quinn! They were MADE for each other! Response: AGFIsdhanoiAHBDOIHB!! I am SOSOSOSOSO freaking SICK of this argument!! So just because Joker had a sidekick in BTAS and the comics, that automatically means that Heath's Joker has one, too?? That's the biggest load of you-know-what I've ever heard!! Somehow I cannot see J with a Harley, and if he did have one, he'd abuse the ever-living HELL out of her for his own amusement. She's pathetic, clingy, whiny, and a DOORMAT, and embodies all of the characteristics in a woman that I absolutely cannot STAND. Do you honestly think that J would want a woman like that around?? If his admiration for Rachel proved anything, it's that he likes strong women, and Harley definitely is NOT that. Now I know people say that a "Nolanized" Harley wouldn't be a push-over, but what would be the appeal to J in that?? He obviously enjoys having the upperhand over people, as well as being able to manipulate weaker minds, so why would he want a woman who could fight back? If you'll notice, the Joker had ZERO female henchmen in TDK, and I think he did that for a reason. Women (not to sound sexist, or anything) generally can't handle his line of work, and I'll admit I most certainly couldn't. Most women have a maternal instinct because, let's face it, our "job" is to have babies, babies, and then some MORE babies. Something about seeing life being destroyed tends to highly disturb women, not to mention we often get emotional. Why would the Joker want to deal with that?? He may love emotions, but not that kind. Even though I think Rachel would be a fun counterpart to his dynamic, I'm going to opt for reality here and say that J wouldn't bother with women, period. My Response: When I said I liked Man/Woman, I didn't mean her. >.> She is whiny and just what I've read about her, I don't like her any! I'm glad they didn't put her in TDK, I would have stabbed myself before hand. Still I would have paired Joker and Rachel up anyways if she was in there... Argument #4: Rachel's too ugly for J. Response: F. YOU. (I'm so prim and proper, aren't I? ) Maggie is BEAUTIFUL, so screw off. I seriously hate how we live in such a shallow country. If Katie had still stayed on as Rachel, or if Rachel McAdams had accepted the role when it was offered to her (before Maggie), I seriously have to wonder if the Jokachel pairing would be more widely accepted. I'm inclined to say yes...what do you think? I'll admit that the cameras in TDK did NOT do Maggie justice, because if you've seen her in Secretary and Trust the Man, you already know how beautiful she can be. Look here: See?? BEAUTIFUL. My Response: O.O HOLY COWS SHE'S BEAUTIFUL IN THAT PICTURE!! I do agree with her that TDK camera's didn't do justice on her beauty. I didn't like the dress they put her in either. =/ But I do believe Maggie is beautiful! >.> More prettier than Harley,...where you can't see past the make-up. Also I had to 'bleep' some things up there. xD But yeah, I have to believe her on that. TDK made her look old. =/ Argument #5: The Joker and Rachel could never be romantically involved, because the Joker doesn't love. Response: I actually agree with this to an extent. The Joker seems far too gone and broken to ever truly love, so when people say that he "loves" Batman or Harley Quinn, I want to scream. I honestly do not believe he could love again after all he's been through...he's too insane. Seriously, have you SEEN his empathy? Ahh, that's right, you haven't, because he doesn't HAVE any. He's a merciless man who'll do anything to get what he wants, and it doesn't matter who he steps on to get there. He HAS no friends, and for good reason. If he had friends or "loved" anyone, he'd be vulnerable just like Batman and Dent. Ever notice how villains go for the hero's lover?? It's because love is a WEAKNESS, and I think J understands that. I don't believe love is a weakness per se, but I truly think that that's how the Joker views it, hence why he doesn't allow said weakness to drag him under. He also doesn't call people by name (i.e. "little bunny", "beautiful", "the Italian"), because distancing yourself from your victim makes it easier to kill them. I've read research articles about that, and that's the general consensus. Once someone has a name, it's a lot harder to commit a crime against them. Anywhos, I could definitely see Rachel developing feelings for the Joker, so it would be a one-sided deal. I could also see the Joker using these so-called "feelings" of hers for his famous manipulation techniques (i.e. getting her to believe he loves her, and then discreetly squeezing her for info on the Bat). See, this is what makes their relationship so fun and fascinating to me. I mean, what could Harley Quinn offer him? More MEDICINE? lol Rachel at least has connections that could prove to be of some use to J (i.e. she knows Batman's true identity, she has connections with the law because of her job, etc). So yeah, don't tell me that they're a pointless pairing, when they have SO much potential for drama and manipulation. LOVE IIIIT! My Response: I have to agree, he is a psycho and wouldn't love anyone after the ordeals he's been through. He would use these called 'feelings' and maybe use them for something else. (ahem Sexual maybe?) Rachel on the other hand, might. Ever heard of "Opposites Attract?" I believe in this. My boyfriend are from two different ends. He is loud and likes the center attention, I'm different, me is quiet and I rather be in the dark corner. So, =P. | |||||||||
