Author has written 8 stories for House, M.D., CSI, and CSI: Miami.

Name: JauntyChick, or Mary-Lou. Birthday: 31st October. Ethnicity: Half Scottish, Half Irish, and I live in Ireland. Hair: Brown. Eyes: Black. And I have a scar on my left eyebrow from falling onto a table when I was three. I'm very fond of it! Ooh, and my PM feature was disabled for some reason, but I have enabled it again, so squee!

Books: Al Capone Does My Shirts - Ginnifer Choldenko - by far the best book I've ever read, the Nancy Drew collection, Mary-Higgins-Clark, I'm really loving the Tavelling Pants series by Ann Brashares - but I am soarly disappointed about the end of the last book -, and Holes by Louis Sachar was amazing! JK Rowling, Danielle Steele, Nicholas Sparks, Robert Swindells and PG Wodehouse. Not forgetting the brilliance that is LM Montgomery, who wrote the 'Anne' series. Amazing descriptions, fantastic names and wonderful plots and characters. So, all of those, too...

TV Shows: House MD - purely amazing!, CSI: Las Vegas - but not anything after the sixth series, because Greg Sanders...way too serious for my liking. Where di the funny hair and odd shirts go??, LOST, Dawson's Creek - oldie, but a goodie - , Ugly Betty, CSI: Miami, The Waltons, Jeeves and Wooster, Doctor Who and 7th Heaven. Then again...there are certain cartoons that I - still! - watch, even though I am WAY too old for them. Spongebob, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy...ahem. Ooh, Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes - pure genius! Gene Hunt - what a guy!

Films: The Notebook, True Vinyl, Cloverfield, Moulin Rouge, High School Musical 1+2, Win A Date With Tad Hamilton, Keeping The Faith, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, Singin' In The Rain - best film ever! -, Calamity Jane, Shadows in the Sun, Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers, Starter For Ten, 27 Dresses, Sweet Home Alabama, Enchanted - so adorable! - , Bubble Boy, Old School, Frida, Dead Poets Society, Uptown Girls, Harry Potter - all so far -, Atonement, Scent Of A Woman, The Sure Thing, and Spring and Port Wine, which, by the way, was perfectly cast despite what anyone says. James Mason rocks!

Article of Clothing: Ooh, I have to say...red, shiny shoes, absolutely covered in sparkly bits. Very Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz. Socks are useful, too. But I have a brown, stripy hoodie that I'm currently loving. And I would really need a white jacket. Oh, but red trousers and me don't go together nicely!

Thing About Yourself: Uh, I don't right think there's anything I dislike. Nope. Nada. Zilch. Can't complain. I love my fringe. Oh, but I do have the unfortunate ability to say completely the wrong thing. Well, not the wrong thing, but the most confusing things when I'm trying to describe stuff and then I can completely stop right in the middle of it..., yes, I ramble too much, as well!

Foodstuff: Steak. I ADORE steak. Actually, all types of meat. But I ove vegetables and fruit, too. I don't eat chocolate, or drink carbonated soft drinks. I have told myself that I'm allergic. Creme brulee all the way.

Season: Random! Summer, I suppose. Not a huge fan of winter, cause it's a bit cold, but snow is uber-pretty. Meh, I like them all equally! OH! but I do not like hayfever...

Animal: Cats. Dogs scare me. So do birds...I don't trust them! Crows and magpies, especially.

Quote: 'Cheese is the Devil's Plaything' - Gregory House. Genius.

Actors/Actresses: Oooh, a few, but not that many...and mostly actors, for some reason. Eric Szmanda, James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Rachel McAdams, Keira Knightley, Vince Vaughn, Salma Hayek, Doris Day, David Caruso, Jennifer Morrison...jeez, this is hard...Edward Norton's really good, and Reese Witherspoon! Jake Gyllenhaal, John Cusack...oh, probably more to come!

Music: FallOut Boy - Pete Wentz, lyrical genius, Patrick Stump, incredible vocalist...is there a better match made in musical Heaven? -, McFly, The Killers, Blink 182, Panic! At The Disco, Hall&Oates, Relient K, Elliot Minor, Colbie Caillat, a wee bit of P!nk, Paramore, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, The Smiths, Foo Fighters and maybe a teensy bit of The Click Five. I can also be kinda partial to country and western music. Dolly Parton, especially. Favourite song ever, though, has to be 'Love is a Battlefield' or maybe 'Heartbreaker' by Pat Benetar. Classic song! Or maybe 'Joe le Taxi' or 'Be My Baby' by Vanessa Paradis, 'I Want You To Want Me' by Cheap Trick, 'Lies' by The Click Five, 'Waiting On The World To Change' by John Mayer is class, 'Attack' by Thirty Seconds To Mars and 'With You' by Jessica Simpson is really good and so is 'Falling Down' by Avril Lavigne, 'Hate Myself For Loving You' by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, 'Tainted Love' by Soft Cell, 'Lie To Me' by Daniel Powter, 'Love Song' by Sara Bareilles. Epic stuff. EVERYBODY should listen to those songs at least once in their life! There are some truly, truly odd things on my MP3 Player ranging from 80s cheese to slight-metal. I love music! And bagpipes. Though, technically, they're music, too, so...

Disclaimer: I do not own CSI, CSI Miami, House MD, LOST or anything else I write about. I do own Allie Moore and her weird family, and Jessica Lucas and her crazy parental unit. All the rest belong to very high-powered, very cool people. Any mistakes are purely my own because I type too fast. And Gema227 definitely deserves a mention on here for being extremely cool. But I cannot believe she quit CSI fanfiction. So sad!!

OTHER NOTAGE: Okay, me and Nikki1984 - brilliant wee lady that she is!! - are co-writing a CSI: Miami, Ryan/OC fic called 'Whatever Love Means', and we would be super-happy if ya'll reviewed it...pretty please?! Pwease? Here's the linkie; http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4341757/1/Whatever_Love_Means Please leave a review!! And also, Nikki, squee! You are the bomb ;D

NOTE: I don't write slash, femslash, smut or anything of the like. None of my ratings are higher than T. I don't read any of the above, either in case you're wondering. I like BETAing, also and I tend to use italics way too much. See?

Have a great rest of the day,

JauntyChick
