I am somewhat obsessed with Supernatural. (And if you're reading this then you probably are to!?). I consider myself a Limp!Sam fan but I can't resist my hurt!Dean fics either. At the end of the day it's their bro love that gets me every time. :D I'm also a h/c junkie!!

Things that bug me when reading fanfic: (keeping in mind I don't write, so take it with a grain of salt!)

Writers who use "your" when they mean "you're".

Bad spelling in the summary. Or "I suck at summaries" - meaning if you suck at summaries what hope do you have at writing a whole story! :)

Sister fics. (just personal preference - they don't have a sister)

When Sam calls Dean "Deanie" - my biggest switch off. No way would either John or Dean tolerate Sam using "baby" talk. Also - too whiny.

First person Sam or Dean. Not sure why. Getting the "voice" right is extremely difficult. (though if it's really well written, I'm there - Like Skag Trendy's" Hunter of the Shadow" - excellent first person story).

OFC's - (unless it's gaelic's Brenna)

Thing I like:

Good, believable, intelligent writing. (hee! I don't ask for much).

Hurt boys - but not torture for torture's sake. Needs a plot.

Writers who update (fairly) regularly. Tough I know. But I loose interest if it's months between updates.

Writers who respond to comments. I know that's unfair, because RL can make that tough. But the joy of ff is connecting with people. I'm more likely to leave a comment if I know the writer is interested in receiving them.

And my favourite authors. hugs I wish I could write.
