Just a bit about me: I'm a female in my early thirties with half a degree in English Lit (don't ask) and an unrealized ambition to be a writer. I discovered fanfic in the summer of '06 and was hooked after reading a Lady Bracknell fic ('Disaster: see Remus J Lupin, lovelife of') If you haven't read any of her stuff, look her up on this site and start with Disaster. You'll be glad you did. Kihin Ranno's 'All Kidding Aside' made me fall in love with RLSB. I've read other types of fanfic but prefer HP fanfic. There's just so much to explore. I'm ope to different pairings, as long as they're well written and engaging, BUT my absolute favourite, wish it was canon pairing (what am I saying, it is so canon) is... Sirius/Remus. The slashy goodness of this pairing makes me squee like a fangirl (even though I'm probably to old to squee without looking like an idiot and am definitely too old to refer to myself as a girl). I've recently discovered Next Gen pairings that I have fallen in love with as well (Albus Severus/Scorpius & Teddy/James - yes, I love my slash). Likes/Dislikes: Jane Austen, ThomYorke's voice, Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman (both chameleons), Harry Potter (of course), well - written fics and too many other things to mention. Bad grammar and/or spelling, bad movie/tv adaptions of good novels, reality tv, manufactured music, anything that's supposed to be creative and clearly isn't and closed - minded people.
