hello all.
i am Nicole...prefer Nikki...alias spacemonkey766. Im 20 years old and am a huge dork. in every freakin sense of the word. i reside in the ohso crowded Long Island and have New York pride up the wazoo. I mean after all...we kinda have the best city. sorry.
im a music whore...i love rock, new and classics,...am into tons of bands - mostly alternative. its is a broad genre but thats what i like and i like a broad range of alternative bands...so it works i guess. but i have so many guilty pleasures that i dont feel guilty about at all. i have a weakness for euro-pop (sclub7, bbmak, ateens, etc) i told you. big dork.
but now to the stuff your really hear for. stories.
i am a writer. its the way i define myself even though its not my occupation. its a passion, which is damn well good enough for me. I've been writing for years, mostly poetry and vignettes and am working on a novel. its a stubborn lil fellow that just wont be finished. ive tried, but it just doesnt cooperate. lil bastard. o well.
my fandoms: 1) Stargate SG1 (hardcore fan since i was twelve). 2) Supernatural 3) CSI:NY 4) CSI 5) and lastly...go ahead and laugh...Drake and Josh. i told you. dork. why havent you gotten that yet? (i also love scrubs and read fanfic for it but i dont write it)
Anywhoo... ive been writing fanfiction for a long time and have been reading it even longer. There are some stories i will not post because theyre realy old and not so good 'cause i was trying to get the feel for it but the ones up are the ones im most proud of.
For a long time all i wrote was Stargate. But then i became a CSI fan...then the bliss that is Supernatural has consumed my life and taken lead. 'Course then i discovered i liked CSI:NY better than the original and i began pening a few of those. And uber recently i've decided to maybe possibly attempt a Drake and Josh fic. I dont write Stargate of CSI much anymore...Supernatural and CSI:NY are what my muse is focused on.
I do it for pure pleasure. No money. Just reviews. thats all i ask. I dont write long stories...im more of a "peak into the life of"girl, ya know. I like little snippents because i think its those little moments that define a person or a relationship and i like exploring that. I write angst mostly, both slash and non-slash, and really go for character connections. Its vital to a show and a story, in my opinion.
