I'm a victim of overeducation with a B.A. in English and an M.A. in literature. Spent a year and a half teaching college part-time, then got laid off. Currently working as a health insurance claims investigator, which has sooooo much to do with what I've spent so many years of my life learning! Ah well, it's a job. Plus, now I have plenty of time for writing! (Because as much as I liked teaching, it was a serious drain on my creativity and time.)

I'm still a Michigander at heart though my body now resides in Wisconsin.
