Hi Hi!...I'm HotaruZala ...also known as Amanda Halstead. I'm a 29 year old college graduate with a Batchelor's Degree in English and my goal is to become a manga writer. I have an original story in the works called Reflections and hopefully you'll all see it on the shelves in the future. Likes: GS, and GSD (Even though it made me mad sometimes). lol.. I am a huge Athrun fangirl...I worship and drool over the hotness that is him. His beautiful hair and eyes, his gorgeous body, and his hot hands for giving Cagalli those hot massages in The Zala Files. lol...Cagalli is my fave female character because I am a lot like her and I look a bit like her clothes and hair wise. I am complete and total supporter of the AsuCaga pairing now and forever. I'm sorry, while I do like Meyrin as a character, I just can't see her with Athrun. lol. Hobbies: Writing, reading and collecting manga, reading fanfics, watching my friend Andrea draw my original story (she's the artist for my original story and I'm the writer since it takes me at least two hours to draw a decent picture). lol...Dislikes: AsuMey, Asu/Meer, Fllay, and of course Yuuna Roma Seran (Boo!...Hate him with a Passion!) What I look forward to: I just had a friend order me the first three volumes of Gundam Seed Destiny The Edge, which I look foward to reading and staring at. My friend Andrea is going to help me learn Japanese so I can read it properly. I'm also a big fan of the Dominic and Anenome pairing in Eureka Seven so be prepared to see a story or two about them . lol I also love Lelouch from Code Geass and the Lelouch X Kallen or Lelouch XC.C. pairings as well as Vampire Knight's delicious Kaname-sama and Hana Kimi's gorgeous Izumi Sano! Kaname X Yuuki fan here too my peoples! and I also I have recently discovered Durarara and the awesome hotness and badassness that is Izaya Orihara. lol

I wanna apologize to all my fanfiction friends and fans for not being here for a long, long time. A lot has happened these past few months that hasn't really been too great. Two weeks after my birthday; my mother lost a two year battle with lung cancer...she hadn't smoked for 30 years, so smoking did not cause this cancer. She was in remission for a year and then it came back.=( Her best friend passed 6 months before her from a ten year battle with breast cancer and then four days after that my grandmother (her mother) passed away from complications from the last surgery she had and also from the lymphoma she had. =( My mother was a very strong-willed, determined, gifted, and beautiful person whom I flatter myself to think I got a lot of my talents from. I miss and continue to love her, my grandmother, and my moms friend( my "fairy Godmother" aunt Cira) everyday. They were the people I went to for advice the most, so it's been a tough few months for me. My father and brother are awesome guys and I love them very much, but they aren't girls so sometimes they don't understand the problems I have.

All of my friends and family from school, Facebook, livejournal, and here on fanfiction.net I know understand me very well and have been a great support, so that's why I wanted to finally come back on here and explain why I haven't updated any of my fics or anything in so long. My mother, aunt, and grandmother all supported my writing and believed that I could accomplish great things with it; which I intend to do so they can look down and see what a success I will be. If it weren't for my father, brother, family, and all my awesome friends; especially those who traveled long distances to be here for me( my friends Kira-san (Gabe Rosenthal) and Beth Burdjack); and those friends like Miss BrieAnn Starr, Andrea Washington and her brothers Areze and Alvin, Jessica Cohen, Tom Wickland, and Dearka-san (Webster Ballard), who have been getting me out and about doing things; I would be a big mess right now.

Thank you to all my fanfiction friends on here for being so kind and patient with me all these years and I fully promise to update daily on the status of my fanfics and make sure you guys here are the first to read them.=)I hope everyone here will forgive me and continue to support me as I will be sticking around here for a very long time. Love all of you guys!
