Bonjour, Hola and Guten Tag! My name's Brianne. I was in 3rd Grade when the original Nintendo hit the U.S. Market. You couldn't pry the controller out of my hands then, and you can't now, even almost twenty years later (Zelda and Super Mario rule!). I love RPG's esp. Final Fantasy VII & VIII and Kingdom Hearts I & II. Back in my freshman yr of college (10 years ago) I started writing X-Files FanFic, because a.) I was obsessed and b.) It was way more fun to write fics than a 10 page paper! A couple years ago, I had started a post Harry Potter OoTP Fic, that I never finished, then lost to a virus on my old PC...d'oh!

But I have a new obsession: Kingdom Hearts. You know when you put allll that time into a game or a book and finally finish it? You KNOW the next installment isn't going to happen for a while! I was fiending for some closure...and here I am back to writing fanfic. I have my first KHFic in progress: The Homecoming. (I tend to be a 'Shipper when I write...I like keeping strictly to the original plot canon, too, but mixed into romance.)

Hi! sorry it's been FAR too long. as I've taken up the vocation of karaoke DJing I've become extremely busy and really haven't any time to write. I also have hit a wall as to where I want to take the story line. I hate writers block. I even have started playing the game a second time to recapture how I was feeling and still nothing. I have things in my present life that could serve as inspiriation and hope to impart that as I attempt to continue and hopefully FINISH this piece! I promise it's not forgotten, as many have contacted me recently to vocalize their need for closure!

Here's hoping that my muse smacks me across my head sometime soon!

Occupation: Music Teacher (I sing and play violin, viola and piano.) and Part-Time Karaoke DJ...I love sharing with people. In my case of career, I share music with everyone.

Hobbies: Gaming, Reading, Writing (Poetry and Short Stories), Dancing like a maniac to live music or at a club.

Philosophy: I don't use the term religion...it's a manufactured organization...I have a pantheistic, universal spiritualism. 10 years ago I would have said Christian and proud. But alas I am on my own journey through the world of light, delving occasionally into the darkness, questing towards self-discovery. (How oddly familiar that sounds...maybe that explains where my OC, Yamiko, came from, and why she's head over heels for Riku...hmmm...)

Fave Past TV Shows: X-Files, Pokemon, Animaniacs, Any old 80's cartoons like She-ra and Voltron (Dude, Power Rangers TOTALLY ripped off Voltron!)

Music: This is going to be difficult to summarize... Being a singer and musician, I am a sucker for good orchestral arrangements used in pop, rock or neo-classical realms. I love electronic music that is full of detail and layers, with and without vocals (any type of house or techno, BJORK and Utada Hikaru!)...the kind of stuff that evolves as you listen to it, y' know? I also like classic rock and modern blues/jam rock like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Phish, DMB. I love good vocal harmonies...and there is a lil known band that I love for that: Toad the Wet Sprocket. Other fave bands: Incubus, Evanescence, Stone Temple Pilots, Alanis Morrisette, Heart, Jamiroquai, the B-52's, old-school Madonna, I listen to and enjoy MOST forms of music (including classical, jazz, and traditional world musics) except country (There are only a handful of exceptions in this category) and most recent hip-hop ("Laffy Taffy"? WTF? It's a CANDY people, not my @!) It's alllll the same: unintelligent and irritating. Oh yeah...I heart the KINGDOM HEARTS II SOUNDTRACK!

Movies:Anything Disney! The classics! Even Mary Poppins and stuff! Spirited Away, Advent Children, Star Wars Double Trilogy, LOTR, Check these out for some amazing script writing: Pulp Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Crash, Memories (by Katsuhiro Otomo)...honorable mentions just 'cause: Ace Ventura Pet Detective 1&2, Pirates of the Carribean 1&2, South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut, Half-Baked, The Big Lebowski, Akira, The Matrix Trilogy.

Why I love being a Dork: Because a dork stays young at heart, always finding joy in the little, seemingly stupid, things. I still wear pig tails from time to time, and rock out the baby tees or peasant shirts with a cute skirt, and I will never care! I may learn to deal with life as an adult, and continue acquire wisdom through life's experiences...but I will always hold dear the things that truly have made me happy my whole life: Friends, Music, and Sharing. Never stop Sharing.
