Almost There: a modernised MAAN (Shakespearean Comedy). it's always been my favourite play, on par with Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet. I've wanted to do a FF of it for a while now, but never was in the right headspace for it. and hey, YOLO right. anyways. Modernised Much ado about nothing. In progress

Fix You: Contemporary persuasion AU. Anne is gone, and Fred realises the mistake he's made. definitely not a light read. completed

Took You Long Enough: A Jily (James x Lily) story at the very start of their relationship. pure fluff bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. trialling new writing style (not sure what to think). He hides, she waits. completed

Proceed With Caution: A Persuasion (by Jane Austen) story, modernised and written as a diary/blog format. Anne Elliot is a 25 year old university student with a past that haunts her and a future she is trying to make sense of one day at a time. She knows the universe has it against her for letting the love of her life go. She makes a new years pact to keep a record of her life for the future generations since noone in her life cares enough to do so. completed

Gunshots: my first NCIS, Castle and Crossover fanfiction (SO EXCITED!) Castle recognises a murder victim, who turns out to be a budding crime ficiton novelist, add this to her missing marine father, a complete lack of leads and evidence and you have a deliscious recipe for a crossover. plus i'm thinking of some McGee/Castle author moments and Ziva/Beckett kick butt moments.. plus Tony totes gets along with the Precinct boys and Gibbs and Gates would be BFFs in another life... ;). in progress/temp-cancelled

The Law of Propinquity: a pre-HoN story concocted some time ago, only just rediscovered it (it was written on my iPod Touch and i was going through my notes and found it!) so i gave it a proper edit, a title and a good ol' spell check (iPod Notes don't pick up on that funnily enough.). completed

'Twas The Night: my LoM musical number in honour of my last day of holidays and the Christmas in July idea. i actually woke up this morning with the first ten lines composed in my head. so technically, my subconscious deserves any given praise for this one. completed

Love is a Battlefield: set in LoM:HoN between pages 240-245. Caroline goes after Aubrey when he goes up and over to play hero. for some reason i had Stevie Wonder's song "Isn't She Lovely" stuck in my head... hmm. completed

Feathery Pains: a very short fanfic about what happens when Aubrey attempts to find the sock thief that stole all of his socks. because, really. socks complete any outfit. (if this story is crap, chill. it was written in a state of sleep deprivation and insomniac-isity) i had fun writing it. completed

FortyPointFive: a short fic mostly following Lady Maria's thoughts after the end of Chapter 40 in LoM6 (includes heavy spoilers) and filling in some time missed before the start of chapter 41, hence the name. completed

Palpitations at the Platform: i've gotten a couple reviews/messages about creating a sequel for DATD (so credit is due to LunaMaiaPotter), and so i wanted to do a short story about it. it didn't become as short as i originally planned, but i like this one. i gave Petunia a chance to redeem herself for being such a spluck, and i put in some comedy with Dudley (such a humourous fellow), and although entirely out of canon (seriously the Dursley's don't care about harry, and i'm sure they'd see pick-pocketing as a higher profession that being magical) i hope i haven't destroyed the story too much. i also put in some Draco Malfoy because he's so much fun to write. (and the final argument between Harry and Draco is the only thing i claim. i'm having a 'be incredibly nasty' day today and i had the awesomest time writing that short sparring of words) completed

Closure: like Dinner at the Dursley's, this particular story has been in my head for years. Harry is required to pick up the coronary report for his parent's deaths, what will he find that will re-brek his heart?!...rated T for themes and sensitive content/topic completed

Dinner at the Durlsey's: this story has been in my head for years(!) and i've never bothered to actually sit down and write it, because i wasnt sure how to set it out. the Granger's are invited to the Dursley's for dinner due to a contract Vernon took to do a line of dentistry/orthadontic drills for the Granger's dentist company (hey, im sure it could happen!) and there's always a bit ruckus going on because Harry didnt know about it, and Dudley's parents are conviced that Hermione's the one for Dudley... HAH, comedic goldmine. completed

Daddy, Tell Me The Story: two small children want to hear an Arthur Adventure story. a condensed, child-safe version of WoH with allusions to the money problem ;). completed

Respectable Distance: another short Laws fanfic, set between pages 46 and 132 of Word of Honour, focusing more on Caroline's experience/thoughts/adventure at the time. completed

Aubrey In Trouble: a short Laws of Magic fanfic. set after the events of the current novels. Aubrey and Caroline have a short 'glossed over' discussion about their futures. completed

Murdering Mary Sue: i got really annoyed with all the 'mary sue' fics i kept reading.. and seeing as the characterisation of a typical mary sue doesnt fit in with Harry Potter.. i decided i was going to send a little hint out to all the mary-sure-ficcers... ie. stop writing them. we all know Miss Sue is based on the author of the fanfic, and although some plot lines have merit and make for an alright read, there just isnt room in the series for her. completed

Once Upon A December: a Lily, James (Harry Potter) story about a singing christmas present... (lyrics from "Once Upon A December" featured in the 20th Century FOX movie "Princess Anastasia". no copyright infringment intended [no money was made from this story])... completed

Persuade Me: a modern version of Jane Austen's amazing love story "Persuasion" i've tried to keep it in canon, but a few changes have been made to keep it in a modern era... 'Can Anne keep up with her demanding family, her tiresome friends, her ex-love and a secret that she's been hiding from everyone?' Work in Progress (3/7 approx. finished) undergoing some editing and story-angle-reworking. / SEMI-ABANDONED as of 2012 (will come back to it one day)
