What to write.

I'm Leila. I'm 18 and it's only just occurred to me to update this page... If I ever find a universe close enough to the one in my mind, I might see if I can adapt what I've written. It's not really likely, though if someone challenges me I'll probably try :-P

Ok, fanfic preferences, then... I've read a few nice CSI ones, I think it was even here. Tamora Pierce (must look for some more), Happy Rotter - uh, Harry Potter, umm...Stargate SG-1. I also like Criminal Minds and Star Trek. Trudi Canavan's books appeal to me but as I don't own copies I'm not very familiar with their contents.

Other stuff... I'm in 6th form, which is apparently like the tail end of high school to Americans. I'm doing A Levels at the moment - biology, maths and something. Um. Oh yeah, RS. Philosophy and Ethics, although there's scary amounts of religious stuff in there, but I guess that kinda makes sense. As opposed to me in general.

Hmm... I live with my dad in a council flat; my mum and brother live about 2 miles away. We're all slightly odd.

If you want a native (well, as native as we can be after all the conquests and stuff) English beta reader, then I can probably help, as long as it's something I'm fairly familiar with - like any of the universes above. My strengths are definitely more language-based than in improving plots (though I can make suggestions), so if you'd prefer the storyline to be mostly untouched, I can do that.

Oh, and a request for the more ill-mannered users of this site - if you're going to insult me, at least let me reply. It seems somewhat cowardly to insult someone who can't even respond.
