--Silence--

The stage lights, a spotlight on a large desk, with only a computer and a chair for company. Thunder rumbles. Lightning flashes, seemingly regardless of the fact that it is late... A figure in a black cape walks quickly into the light, taking a seat in the chair... She raises her hands, ready.. Thunder and lightning rumble, almost in the right order this time. Events eventuate. Suddenly, she gestures toward the keyboard, her long blue dreadlocks flying out behind her, as the first words are dramatically pounded out, like on some great organ. Lightning flashes and thunder, like great drums, pours in from the windows. From somewhere in the background, a full orchestra starts to play, reminiscent of some work of the Phantom. Her cape waves as a wind springs up, causing the curtains to billow...

Just as suddenly, she stops... Silence fills the hall. She stands, dignified, and hits the 'save' key. Thunder rumbles once more as she lets out a cascade of evil laughter, submitting the world to her bizarre and twisted sense of humor...

...Or not...

Well, except for that last bit.

Soooo.. Now that you're all here, I'm expected to entertain you?

So, umm.. Humor is good. Yes. Humor I have plenty of, along with cynicism, sarcasm, an extreme cheekyness factor and a tendency to get sillier the later I stay up. Therefore most of the writing you will be seeing/have seen from me will be parody, or at least mildly humorous. (I hope)

I live in the United States and am an avid fan of such things as Monty Python, Shakespeare, Star Trek, Elfquest, and lots more things I will no doubt elaborate on later.

I have been a Trekkie since before I can remember, which I blame mostly on my Dad, because he was the one who taught me to do the Vulcan hand sign with either hand by the time I was seven. Elfquest was literally what made me start reading, with the side-effect that I love comic books, unlike almost any other gal I know... unlike almost any other person my age I know. I also really like Mel Brooks movies, as you will see.

I also have an account at FictionPress .net, under the same name. check it out!

"For all that is timeless must exist in all times, all that can be asked of humanity exists in every human and all that is beautiful is within the eye of the beholder." --'Perspectives', by Answer

"Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you." --Iceman

"Alan Rickman...He makes regular sexy seem like schoolgirl fluff." --as stated by my friend Ana Cardic.

"One by one, the Penguins steal my sanity." --random postcard

"The song of the Sirens does not exist, the music from which there is no escaping is that of their voices..." --Giuseppe Tomasi, 1887

"Those composers, they could go either way with the sanity thing..." --Esther, my piano teacher

"Who needs sanity when you have CREATIVITY?!" --my Mum, in reply

Dammit, Bones! I need you! I need you bad!" - Captain Kirk

And, last but not least, for those brave few who have read this far: "Mega biblion, mega kakon." ("A great book is a great evil"; Greek) --from a list of often-used phrases in the back of my 1895 Webster's.
