Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter. Hi everyone! I'm just writing a short note to inform all of you that I will not be continuing any of my stories in the near future. I now realize that after years of dealing with depression and after giving up several times (fortunately there are people that are not willing to give up on me), I really need to make a change and spend most of my efforts on getting better and on finding a new direction in my life. The world of HP fan fiction has been a place where I've escaped from the real life for several years (since early 2005), and I've received endless hours of pleasure from it -- both reading and writing, although most of the things I've written are still unpublished -- but now I must concentrate on the real life issues that I've been avoiding. I need to focus on my studies and I need to spend more time with the people I have been neglecting. I need to make new friends and get on with my life, before it's too late... I'm almost certain that my exodus from HP fan fiction will be a temporary one, though, because there are still many stories to be written (and many unfinished stories that I'm reading), and I strongly believe that I will be back to write those stories one day -- I just hope that the HP fan fiction communities are still going strong that day ;-) In the meanwhile, if anyone feels like continuing any of my stories, or using any of the ideas from them, you may feel free to do so. I have been inspired and motivated by so many other fan fics and their authors that it wouldn't really be fair for me to get mad at someone drawing inspiration from my own stories -- I do not wish to be in the way of anyone's creativity, even if you write stories that I might not like myself :-) Now it is time for me to bid you farewell (for now). Perhaps one day I will be back to finish the White Phoenix, write Harmony (the greatest AU Harry/Hermione romance ever imagined) and A World of Two (the greatest outcast-HHr fic ever), and to flood the HP fan fiction community with an endless stream of short and fluffy HHr fics, of course.
