I have one guilty pleasure, it is B/A fan fiction of all kinds. I have never been so obssessed about a TV show couple before or since.

It almost didn't happened. I never saw BTVS when it debut because I was busy working and taking night classes. I had no interest, expecting it to be no better than the movie. One night a class was canceled; I got home just as BTVS ended. I was about to turn the channel when I heard the beautifully haunting cello from the ATS theme. It was the first time I had seen Angel and it was IWRY episode. It touched a chord in me and made me cry. Then I saw a special crossover show( one that was an extra ten minutes of footage and was to be on air just that one night and would never be recorded etc. hype. Maybe someone else remembers?) Angel helped Buffy fight Adam until doyle had a vision, calling him back to LA. After that I needed back story, but because of work and night classes I didn't start really watching until the fall of 2000.

I watched both the reruns and the current show at the time. I don't know why, but the show and the couple just grabbed me. It was a fairltale, mythology, fantasy comicbook and soap opera all rolled into one; my PBS watching family think I went nuts. I was obsessed and it grew, when I discovered fan fiction during season six, (which made me sick with the whole Spuffy and C/A thing which had already turned me off to ATS.) I have not found any thing or any couple that has so enthralled me since.
