The Facts My name is Kristin, but I have a few nicknames. A lot of people call me Ris. I don't mind it though. I'm more complicated than I appear at first glance. I act differently with certain people for some reason. I'm really shy until I feel comfortable around people. At camp, I was always known as "the quiet one" Seriously, people addressed me as "Quiet One". I was a Girl Scout, didn't love it, didn't hate it. I'm infatuated with reading, anime, and music. Caffeine is pretty much my boyfriend,...my life. I loved Twilight once. Twitard fanatics ruined it. I love discussing plots and writing with people. Like, I really want to write a collaboration. Now. I actually like it when people correct my writing. I'm not shy to ask for critiques from total strangers. In fact, I HATE asking friends to read my writing... Mainly because they'll always say it's good, the end. I'm a huge fan of animals and Mother Earth in general. I'm a vegetarian. Not a vegan, you ignorant, uneducated... If it matters, I'm an atheist. Think what you want. It doesn't mean I don't have morals, kaythanksbye. I get frustrated when people don't take me seriously. I wanna be a professional writer when I graduate. Yay! See, lately I've missed the fanfiction community dearly. I've lost touch with some good friends on here because of my lack of activity, my habit of drifting in and out. And as my role playing hobby has been suffering from my inability to play well with others (my friend's words, not mine, lol), along with my sudden preference to writing by myself instead of collaborating with others towards a vague plot, I decided it's time to make a comeback. I want to finish all the stories I've started, and hopefully I'll be able to do that over the summer. I think there's a good chance of it, as long as I still have my loyal readers cheering me on. I've got some insane writing muse lately. All owed, of course, to those who still review and PM in hopes of an update someday. Thanks so much guys! And on a side note, school ends in 2 days! Yaaaay! August 24, 2009- Wow, I used to be so good about updating this monthly. Oh well, time got away from me this summer I guess. I certainly meant to get more of my fanfics done than I did. I was just kind of absorbed in my original writing, I'm not very sorry to say. I am, however, sorry I left a lot of readers waiting for so long. But today I updated Coming Undone, organized my notes for it so that I don't lose track again, and have a few other stories on my drawing board. I'm gonna tackle Rumored one of these days, but let's get some of the shorter ones done first, eh? I really might delete Cracked. I can't even remember what I was thinking when I started it, nevermind a course for its ending. Anyways, I've also got some homework to tackle (a bit delayed, but I still have a week and a half.). I hope everyone's had an amazing summer; i know colleges are already going back, I'm going to be there (I hope) this time next year. Time flies, doesn't it? I joined FF when I was starting middle school, and now I'm in my last year of high school. Wow. September 26, 2009- I'm getting closer! Lol. Hey look, my first completed multi-chap! We're going to ignore that it's a two shot for the sake of my sanity. Anyways, I apologize to the couple of people who sent me beta requests, but my work load got obnoxiously heavy and I'll be sending messages along concerning that momentarily. And to those dedicated fans who have threatened me with mushrooms and pitch forks, to which I ask if there's a fire so we can make roasted marshmallows, I'm trying to work on those stories that seem to be most popular. Sadistic people. Haha, really though, thanks for all the encouraging PMs everyone. Hopefully I have more than one update going on the next time I remember to write here. Happy beginning of fall 09, by the way, a few days late. December 4, 2009- So much for monthly, right? Anyways, school's been alternating between slow enough to do what I want and hectic enough where I can barely get done what NEEDS to get done. So sorry for the sporadic updates, but I've posted two chapters for Coming Undone in the past couple weeks hopefully to make up for it. Chapter twelve isn't written yet though, so I'm sorry if it takes a while... I want to get Rumored finished too; that's such a happier story, and I want to get back in that mindset.
