Summary:
In the last weeks of the Metal Head Wars, Haven suffers increasingly deadly street warfare. Jak, whose tight schedule is filled with missions for Torn or Krew, is suffering mentally and physically. However, he recieves a blessing in the form of a new ally: Iconis. Iconis is an assassin. She is quick, cold, and deadly, and she hates the KG with every bit of her soul. In Iconis, Jak finds friendship (but not romance!).
It would not be enough to save them. Jak and Daxter did not survive the Metal Head Wars, and they left behind a mass of bereaved souls. Keira sinks further into depression, and Samos has all-but lost his abilty to carry on as the Green Sage. In these sad times, Samos recalls a memory or two of his old life, and of the two children he lost. But Samos is not ready to forget Jak or Daxter, or to let Fate's will go unchallenged.
As the allies of Jak and Daxter try to cope with their deaths, two figures are plotting and scheming with no visible goal. Fate and Chance come into play, and none know what they want, what they are trying to do, or even who they are.
