The author lives in the state of Perpetual Rain (also called Washington) in a house with three clinically psychotic cats who she adores. She also lives in a house that is notable haunted (among friends and family) and has been told that if she values her life it would be wise to 'get the heck out before you end up you-know-where in a hand basket!' however she has merely laughed and gone back to sleep.
