I've been writing for a little less than three years now, though unfortunately, I don't have all that much to show for it ^^;;. I tend to just leave my stories hanging... it's called procrastination half the time, and a case of the infamous writer's block the other half. I've gone under a dozen different psydonyms (most, if not all, of them of Japanese influence) in the past, but I'm gonna try to stick with Avalon Westborough. If that sounds familiar... well, I live in San Francisco. One of my friends (or rather, boyfriend *glomps* **^^**) [http://www.fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=4203] was able to figure out the origin of Avalon Westborough without me even hinting at it @@;;. Anyways... I LOVE anime, especially shoujo series -- 'mechs and the like just aren't my thing. I have a bit of an Asian culture obsession (on top of being an otaku, I am of Chinese ethniticity ^_^)... so be warned ^_~. But really, you'll probably see the influence of anime and such in my fiction. I focus more on relationships and character development and such rather than action-oriented... stuff... so... yeah ^^;;. I also favor poetry because I actually tend to FINISH poems... so you'll see several of those up.
Throwing out a bit of random information now... I take French at an all-girls Catholic high school [http://www.mercyhs.org] x.X;;;, though I'd have taken up Japanese or Chinese in the blink of an eye. (Mais j'adore beaucoup le français maintenant!) As for clubs... I'm in Yearbook and Anime ^_^. Aside from my supposed writing talent (ano... 'tis rather questionable...), I'm virtually talentless ^_^;;;. Not something I'm proud of. Ittai... I like singing and messing around with my evil computer. I've had half a dozen (literally) websites up, but they're all kinda sorta really... DEAD... now ^^;;;. I plan on working on a small, personal (i.e. lacking any importance whatsoever) website to cure boredom... nee, a domain's a terrible thing to waste! Even if it is just a cheap (not free, cheap ^^;;) redirect... The addy will be disclosed as soon as the site's presentable =).
