You're probably wondering who the hell I am? Well here goes... I'm Philip Neris and I am a huge Predator fanatic and I mean HUGE! Most of my stories are involving my roleplay characters Rakai'Thwei, Set'gin Thei-de, Kiryu, Buror, Burai, Yeyinde and Ko. So expect alot of stories about them. Most of my friends here are on FF.net and my girlfriend Scarlet Moonlight is too. Thats probably the only reason why I joined this place. Anyway, aside from Predator, I enjoy crossover stories too involving Street Fighter, Marvel, DC,Final Fantasy and just about anything else except for Digimon, Poke'mon, Harry Potter and please don't get me started on slash fics... they annoy the hell out of me, especially yaoi fics, sick shit. Anywhoo... more about me..

Ihave been RPing since late 1999 in the Beseen chatroom known as Sailor Pluto's Time Chamber but I haven't always RPed as a Yautja since then, back in the early days, I Rped as Ryu from Street Fighter but rather poorly. As time marched on, I out grew the Street Fighter phase and moved onto something more mature-- darker and violent. I was looking for something which no one had RPed before- something that was either rare to RP as or never been even RPed before, so I did some thinking of all the things I liked. Predator had came into my mind and I was like "Alright, you love the Predator, you've liked him since he was a little kid-- now do some more research on him!" and well... thats what I pretty much did. I watched both the Predator movies again, both one and two, re-read all the comics I had from Darkhorse and collecting the new ones which were out and did a little bit of online research. Thanks to Yautja Encyclopedia, I was almost prepared to actually RP as a Yautja but I needed to go in depth further into creating such a character. It was then I had discovered the books!

I first started off with Steve Perry's Alien vs Predator: Prey novel, the one with Machiko Noguchi and Dachande aka Broken Tusk. The story drew me even more and I just had to buy more of the books! Soon after that, I was reading Alien vs Predator: WAR, and then Alien vs Predator: Hunter's Planet. It still wasn't enough. Got even more Predator books such as Predator: Concrete Jungle, Predator: Big Game and finally, Predator: Cold War. Oh yeah, I read the Alien books too. So anyway, I studied more about the Yautja such as the life span, physical attributes and what not. Everything about them, I learned-- even the type of metal for the armor and weapons they used and the language as well! So I incorperated that into my RPing!

Character generation was tough though but I managed to pull it off with Rakai'Thwei, my first beloved Yautja and my oldest character. So in order to actually understand and become the character and bring him to life, I joined a martial arts school-- namely a Tang Soo Do school known as Yi's Karate Institute. I learned and honed my fighting skills with the Korean arts and incorperated them into my RP! I find that if you actually learn a fighting style, it will help you in your RP battles because you will actually know what you are doing instead of not knowing what your doing. Also, studying the Yautja weapons and playing various video games with the Predator helped.

As of late... 2002, I came upon the SRI ala the DarkRelic chat. Now I'm going to admit something, I wasn't really well liked over there simply because I RPed as a Predator and the first thing I was told was "No, you cannot RP as an alien here. Read the rules, please." and obviously I did. Okay, time to show them what I know. I told the administrators there that Yautja had been in existance from the dawn of time and that they are a technologically advanced species. I even told them that a Yautja had even visited Earth in the medevial times and fought Saint George. The guys were hesitant but I was accepted HOWEVER I was not allowed to use my technological advanced weaponry. Okay, I had a little trouble there but I had help from a great RPer named Tyler aka Guan'Thwei Paya, an RPer who alone had 800 confirmed kills. Over the months he had helped me improve until one day-- our friendship broke apart and he challenged me to an RP match. The fight lasted fifty hours, I kid you not! Starbucks was my diet for the last few days! Ha ha ha! In the end, I won and beat him-- and something awoke in me. To be a legend.

So I continued to RP in SRI for the next two years, and there have been some troubles here and there-- (don't even bring that up!) but I managed to pull through and return. Over time I continued to fight and take many wins. As of now... I have over 410 confirmed wins in RP...
