Hm, about time I made a little bio for myself. I've been here long enough. (it's 6/24/07 as I write this)

I enjoy writing, although my first fanfics were not pleasant to read. So you won't find them on this site. (2 or 3 of them are Yu-Gi-Oh fics involving SetoxOC. Not very pretty.)

So when I started putting fics on this site, I started with Yu Yu Hakusho, my favorite anime series ever. Also involving an original character, but my writing skills have improved since the SetoxOC disaster. (It really was a disaster, don't ask to see it.)

...I should actually update those YYH fics I started...

Anyway, nowadays I find that I have a purpose on this site- providing fans of Tales of the Abyss with CANON FICS.

Namely, LukexTear. My favorite pairing in the game. And I love writing it. I started with 2 oneshots, both of which came from ideas inspired by online Tales fans like myself.

Then, I started what I look upon as my masterpiece- Long Distance Relationships. It's the only ongoing fanfiction that I've actually updated, and my most popular story at the moment. I'm very proud of it, and as time allows, I'll continue to update it since it's such a success! Even if there are a few things in it that aren't exactly canon... but I put those in for amusement, because I have some friends that I like to amuse with this story. (That's the reason Dist exists here. coughfuturespoilercough)

I don't know if you'll believe me, but usually when I write fics, almost no planning goes into them. I just get a general idea of what I want to happen, then I sit at the computer and it usually writes itself. Pretty cool. I have yet to stumble on a serious writer's block with Long Distance Relationships. (Knock on wood.)

Maybe in the future, if this story actually ENDS sometime, I'll try something different. I know a certain someone who would like me to try a certain "sort-of canon" from ToA... but that story is not happening until I have absolute confidence in my abilities to write such a story. (You know what I'm talking about, Bara no Dist-sama...)

Um, ok. I should probably say something that doesn't have to do with my fanfictions. When I'm not sitting here for hours on a Sunday writing yet another chapter of LDR, I enjoy watching anime and reading manga (or any book), and of course playing video games. (Because I'm currently working on ToL, you may see a fic from that game here soon.) I also love to sing pretty much anything Japanese- I'm told I have a nice voice, but I don't know. Oh, and cosplaying. I love sewing, and cosplaying is a way to show off both my sewing abilities (ok, they're far from perfect) and my love of anime/manga/video games. (Yes, I have cosplayed from ToA. And YYH. And other various series. Want to see? I'll think about it.)

Hm, I can't think of what else to say. I'm a college student, does anyone really care about that? shrug And to this day, I don't think a single normal person who's met me in real life has guessed my age correctly. Just a couple tidbits you might find interesting.

In fact, whoever you are, if you're still reading this, you must really think I'm cool. So, um... thanks! I'll keep writing stories for you guys! Please review them if you like them, and if you see something wrong, tell me about it! I take criticism well... as long as it's not to my face. I'm going to watch some anime now- ja mata ne!
