Author has written 20 stories for Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Hello everyone! My name is Kim, I'm 19 and I live in the Netherlands. I'm a second-year History-student in Leiden, and I'm planning to be a teacher, or a journalist, or both: haven't decided yet. However, I have decided that my life will be full of aventure and that I'll make the best out if it... I absolutely adore writing and reading, witch gave me two good reasons to visit and register on fanfiction.net. The books I love the most are the Harry Potters, and I do read a lot of other book in the traslated, Dutch versions, like Artemis Fowl, or the sisterhood of the traveling pants. (in dutch: 4 vriendinnen, 1 spijkerbroek) (try to say that 4 times fast, you English-speaking people:P:P) The Alex Rider-series is also very cool and as a History-student I love books which take place in the past too... Jane Austen is my hero... My favorite HP-couples are all canon to the series, so you could say that I'm a bit boring in that. my favorite ships are Lily/James, Hermione/Ron and Ginny/Harry. I'm also a fan of Tonks/Remus, though I think that now they don't have a furture with each other, it will be pretty hard to write a lot of fanfic about them... maybe something about them in Harry's 7th year... O, I came by the name mokimik, because of two different things combining: "moki" (because I tend to break everything, and the tool for that is in dutch called a 'moker', which my friends changed into moki) and "mik". (because it's my name spelled backwards, and when I was little, I tried to spell everything backwards.Yeah, I know, I was weird... still am, actually.) My first story has been "a werewolf's tale" which has turned from a one-shot into a whole story (which I hope to edit one day, since it's really painful for me to see how bad my English is in that story...) After that, a lot of one-shots and song-stories followed. I'm not planning to write about other books/films/etc than Harry, but when the pirates-series ended, I 'couldn't resist', as Jack Sparrow would put it, and wrote a tale. I just wasn't agreeing with the original story. I'm currently posting a story about Hermione and Ginny in their 6th/5th year, called: "Hermione, Ginny and the Half-Blood-Prince" It's a story with small chapters, but that's long nonetheless: I wrote about 100 chapters... Since I post every week 1 chapter, you can do the math... Anyway, since English isn't my original language, and I'm still having trouble with formulating sentences and correct grammar, I'm having a wonderful friend and beta-er, Lisa, who corrects every story for me...she was also the first person who reviewed my first story :).
