Author has written 39 stories for NCIS, Jane Eyre, Bourne Identity/Supremacy, Misc. Tv Shows, Disturbia, and American Girl.

Please don't steal my stories! They are to be enjoyed by everyone, not sold for a profit on Amazon! Thanks.

Oh, what the heck! I'll re-write my profile AGAIN.

Hi there! I'm celestial1(which I picked mainly because 'celestial' was already taken) and I like to write fan fiction. I've actually been writing stories in one form or another since I was a little kid - I wrote the Jane Eyre story you can find below when I was in college, before I'd even heard of fan fiction (you had to use tin cans and string to connect to the internet) - but I didn't start doing this in earnest until about 3 years ago, when I got into the show NCIS. It was actually the plague episode, SWAK, that got me hooked (Yes, I'm that celestial) so if you haven't seen that one, I'd recommend giving it a watch before you try to read, oh, about half of my stories.

For the longest time I wrote only in the NCIS fandom; I do still dabble now and then but I think the show has definitely changed. It's still a good show, but it's not the same as if was in the first few seasons. (And I am pretending that all of the La Grenouille stuff never happened because it was so... boring...) I do still love to take the characters out for a spin, though. And I'm gradually reaching out into other fandoms when I feel particularly inspired. I actually have the goal of writing original fiction eventually and I can see how FFN has been a really good exercise in that. For example, when I started out I couldn't write dialogue to save my life and now I am... slightly less uncomfortable with it. My stories are pretty much Gen with a slight tendency towards Angst (I've always found that easier to write even though I am not an angsty person); I don't write "shippy" stories in general because I'm not usually a fan of pairings on shows. (And no slash, ever. Just not my thing.) Especially pairings with cute nicknames. I do, however, seem to find myself developing a sub-sub-subgenre known as Awkward Romance Stories - the prime example of this is Acceptance, easily the awkwardest romance ever - so if I ever do write original fiction I guess we all know what kind it will be.

A little bit more about myself: I'm 29 (will be 30 in December and I'm actually excited about it), married to a good guy who doesn't even watch NCIS, and the mom of 3 kids, ages 6, 4, and 1. I'm your basic minivan-driving suburban housewife, I guess. I love to scrapbook (I mean seriously looove it), I enjoy sewing cool dresses and stuff, I can't get enough of scouring the thrift stores for a great find. And I write fan fiction. I think it's kind of cool that I have this secret other life (most of the people who know me in person have no idea about all of this) and I always appreciate another outlet for my creative impulses.

One of the things I love about the Internet Age (Watch out people, I'm about to go all philosophical here) is the massive interconnectedness with people all over the globe. Seriously, some of the places that pop up in my Reader Traffic I've never even heard of (but I've always been really bad at geography) and yet someone thought my stuff was worth a click. Now, this can be a double-edged sword because there's also a lot of negativity on the internet (Really!) but on the whole my experiences with FFN have been overwhelmingly positive. I appreciate any reviews for my stories, even short reviews but I do treasure the good meaty ones, and I always try and reply to show my appreciation. Only sometimes I get too distracted/busy/mommy-brained to reply, so don't be offended. I love hearing from other people even if it's just to tell me how the weather is in your part of the world. (Right now it's raining here.)

And now for my obligatory disclaimer: I don't write swears, because I'm a Mormon. (Remember when Tony said that in Pop Life? I laughed my butt off.) I know that's not really true to the characters as they are written on the show, but I can't bring myself to put a naughty word in my stories. You can go ahead and add them in your head when you read, if you'd like.
