Hi! I'm a rare girl-nerd. I span many fandoms and familiarize myself with their intimate details. I like to listen to music while I write. You'd think it would be distracting, but it actually helps me focus. I play the trumpet (yes, girls play trumpets!) and the guitar (badly). I've taken four years of Spanish so mi español no es fantástico, pero es más o menos bueno.

On Harry Potter:
I've been a fan since the 3rd grade. To those of you that think it's Satanic, I say, "Oh, for goodness sake! Read the damn book!" I've kind of given up the Potter fic because it's distorted my ideas about canon. I plan on cosplaying Bellatrix this Halloween.
On Star Trek:
I've never been to a convention (because they're elusive!) or dressed up or anything like that. I'm just a fan. Live long and prosper! A trekkie for a 3 whole years now! Star Trek IV is my favorite. (Movie 5 should be disowned.) Still not sure about movie XI... We'll have to wait and see on that one.
If you're here about Spock is in My Living Room, I've taken it down because it was pretty much plagerized from Ster J. I wrote it before I really knew what plagerism was and have delt with it accordingly.
On Phantom of the Opera:
I love the movie! I love Erik! I really don't like Raoul! The actors who portray him aren't bad or anything, I must admit, most of the Raouls I've heard are very good singers, but I don't like Raoul the character.
I'll never forget my first experience with POTO. It was in Jr. High band. We played some of the highlights for the spring concert. My band teacher tried to convince the class that the words to "Music of the Night" were "Fish heads, fish heads, rolly polly fish heads. Fish heads, fish heads, how I love my fish heads. I like them, I like them. Please don't take my fish heads from me..." It is incredibly difficult to play your instrument went the director is mouthing "fish heads" at you during the performance.

On Pirates of the Caribbean:
Yo ho! Yo ho! A Pirates life for me! I'm going to bite the bullet and admit that I'm a Sparrabeth shipper... I don't care how AWE ended, Will is a loser and a wimp. Captain Jack is a much stronger character. I dabble in Norribeth here and there as well. I ship PintelxRagetti, too. One of the few slash pairings I support. Save the squid, kill the Will!
On Sweeney Todd:
Never Forget. Never Forgive. I support all Sweeneys, but Johnny Depp and Len Cariou are my favorites. I don't do a lot of fic reading for this fandom.
On Lord of the Rings:
I'm rather new to this fandom and am still learning.
Favorite Elf: Elrond, 'cuz he rocks my socks! Yay!
Favorite Hobbit: Sam, 'cuz he's so loyal and cuddly!
On House, MD:
Oh, my gosh! I love this show! Intelligent primetime drama! I don't do a ton of shipping in the fandom. I'm pretty open to most pairings, however, Hameron and most HousexOC fics rub me the wrong way.
