Now I know how excited you must be, after all, the famed Wikipedia-noted author is here with us today and we're going to ask lots of ultra-personal questions! Right now, you get the chance to be on the first people to know the real Freaking Cage! So, here we go! Freaking Cage, thank you for being here! Freaking Cage (FC): Oh no, it's my pleasure. I really have nothing going on right now anyways. Announcer: Really? An amazing well-loved person like you has nothing on her schedule? FC: Yeah, well, believe it or not, dyed-blonde girls have no fun. At all. Hah. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...(cough). Announcer:...Okay! Well we've got lots of questions here, so let's go ahead and get started. Freaking Cage, why did you decide to write fanfiction and not normal fiction? FC: Ah well, that's pretty simple. I am by no means a professional; I really just enjoy writing. So since I'm so lazy, I decided it would be easier just to take already-made characters and develop them more and create stories around them that satisfied my own imagination. Announcer: Does that mean to say you don't have any original fiction? FC: Well, true and not true. I have original fiction, but it'll never see the light of day. Plus, it's super old. No one wants to go through that old closet of skeletons. (laugh) Announcer: Let's get into your background. Where are you from? FC: California. NorCal! But, I lived in Germany for about a year, and right now I'm living in SoCal, which is beautiful as well. The beach has to be my favorite place. Announcer: What is your current occupation? FC: Unemployed. (A depressed atmosphere takes over). But I'm also a student, and working hard! Announcer: What is your goal with school? FC: Well, I'll be finishing up the year here, and then heading on over to Canada. It's been a dream of mine to go there since about 5 years ago, and I'll do anything to get in! I'm going for a joint English and Journalism degree Announcer: That sounds interesting! What type of journalism would you like to go for? FC: Well, that's a good question. Anything that will help me fight the Elitist Pigs that think so damn highly of themselves, (just who do they think we are? we're the bread of this country but just because they have some extra bones they're suddenly entitled to special benefits, those wretched beings wouldn't know what real character is if it sucked on their asses they call faces...mutter mutter mutter...) Announcer: Ah...let's turn over a new leaf. So what is your favorite part about writing fanfiction? FC: Well, the characters of course. They really become alive on page that you can't really understand until you get in the zone. Not that my representations are perfect, but with such amazing characters like Genjou Sanzo, Sakurazuka Seishirou, and Tsuruga Ren, it's hard not to want to get these guys moving around in your mind and share it with the world. And of course, I love my readers! They're all such thoughtful girls, I really love reading their reviews. Announcer: Since you mentioned characters, who is your favorite Manga Character of all time? FC: That would be Monou Fuuma as Dark Kamui. He's so sexy and badass, not to mention wise--my fangirl heart only beats for him! But right now Tsuruga Ren is really taking his place. Announcer: What is your favorite manga? FC: Oh wow, that's hard. There are so many different works that are equally amazing...but one that will always remain in my heart is Saiyuki. Those boys just have such charisma. And the story is really creative and out there--Kazuya Minekura is definitely one of my favorite authors! But then I just have to add, that my current fad is Skip Beat! Kyouko is just such a strong girl, I'm a sucker for those kinds of girls! Announcer: What's a character you hate? FC: Monou Kotori. Any girl that has no backbone and cries all the time, just waiting to be saved. I like the go-getters, the ones that earn my respect. Not the ones that are just fairy Princesses from the womb. Announcer: Now some quick knowledge questions. What are you most proud of? FC: My looks. I'm pretty damn hot when I try. Announcer: Favorite animal? FC: Ooh, tough. Elephant actually. But lemurs and dogs are pretty damn sweet. Announcer: Favorite country? FC: The US of A! But Italy is a close second! Announcer: Guilty pleasure? FC: Anything involving werewolves. Announcer: Strange Secret Talent? FC: I can eat a half pound burger with everything on it in 3 and a half minutes. Announcer:...Wow. FC: Yeah. Announcer: Okay. ...And final question, what has inspired you to be the you that sits here today? FC: Wow, that was deep. (Bewildered expression) The me that sits here... A little bit of everything I think. From every moment of every day, it's always the small things that catch my notice and effect me in different aspects. Sometimes it's big things, like having to start over from scratch after being kicked out of a house, and sometimes it can just be a rabbit running through the backyard. But everything counts I think, and the me that exists today is really just a combined creation of everything that's already been here, from a power that's much older and wiser than myself. I'm here thanks to the good will of everything and everyone around me. And I couldn't be more happy to be me! Announcer: Well that's all the time we have today.
