Seeing as how you can look up and see a lot of the things I'm interested in, if anyone could give me some ideas on a new fanfic to write (or to write with me), that would be great! If any of my interests share with yours, we could share ideas for fics. I sort of need some writers to get me started on my "writing rampage", if you will. CAN'T FIGHT THE MOONLIGHT!! SAVE OUR SHOW!!
One of my favourite TV shows, Moonlight, has been cancelled by CBS.
That has pretty much blindsided me. I saw the finale and LOVED it, and couldn't believe it was the end of the series as well as the season.
This show has so much to offer. A great plot, great actors/actresses, emotional depth, etc. It got at least 8 million viewers with each episode, which made it one of their featured and leading shows. I strongly believe that CBS has made a mistake with letting it go.
It is my hope, as well as other Moonlight fans, that another station will pick up where it left off. It has a great cliffhanger and could go so many places. It would be a great opportunity for any other TV station to have Moonlight in their line-up. I'll watch it no matter the channel.

UPDATES - July 21st, 2008: SUMMER! It's been both busy and relaxing for me... It's far better than high school, that's for sure. (Which reminds me: I recently got my scores back for a huge AP exam I took in May...and I passed! WOOHOO!) The greatest thing about summer is sleep. I take it for granted...and now I can stay up and wake up as late as I want! Sort of. I do have a part-time job, so there are some limitations.
I'VE DONE IT! I'VE UPDATED EMPIRE! Okay, so the fourth chapter isn't up yet. But I've done the next best thing for all of you! I said I edited the first three chapters, and I have. The new versions of "Promises", "Succession", and "Choices" are now up!
The truth is, Chapter 4 is not yet completed. There are some parts of it where there's obvious gaps that need to be filled, and a few places that need to be revised, and it's just too short for my satisfastion. I'm working, though, and getting some help. But if any of you have some amazingly brilliant suggestions for something I should have in this chapter, I'm still open to them.
I also have a plot twist in mind, but I'm not sure if I'll go anywhere with it... We'll have to wait and see. :)
If you have some ideas written up, or even just in your head, please PM me and I will take them into account - and of course I will credit you for it. When I make the changes, be it revised chapters or new ones, I will post it here.
(Oh. And I'm totally psyched for Brisingr to come out! I have a countdown, and I've preordered it already.)
As I've said before, I would love to have more reviews! I know that's not terribly much to say, since I haven't updated for a year and a half - AGH! - but anything to be said is worth more than nothing. I appreciate all the feedback I've received and am using your comments and suggestions to better my writing.
I can't believe how many people have asked me to continue this fanfic. It's astounding to me, and flattering. Hopefully I can finish Chapter 4 and get it up soon!
I'm using the writing that many of you have submitted to FF(dot)net to adjust my own work. I'm amazed at how visual and well-worded some of the writing here is. It's fantastic! I honestly say that many of you are extremely talented with writing, and should consider making a career out of it (if you haven't already).
