Coming to you from the Great White North.
I'm a bit of metalhead, but it has to be good. Any no talent slob can gargle razor blades, scream unintelligibly, and play guitar like they're wearing boxing gloves. That's not talent, nor is it impressive.
I like my sports too. NASCAR, football, and hockey mostly.
I've been writing for a long time and I enjoy the constant evolution of my writing. The longer I do it, the more I learn to flesh out the scenes and better desrcibe the action and the emotions of the characters. Hopefully I will continue to develop, since I would like to improve my ability to write more involved plots.
I'll probably only write Evangelion stories here, although there are several other animes that I enjoy. (Ghost In The Shell, Black Lagoon, Bleach and Hellsing among them)
I haven't spent countless hours watching my DVD's, so I may not be as concise as others when it comes to sticking close to the established world of Evangelion, but I'm not writing scripts for Gainax either. So, if anyone has a problem with my interpretation of the characters being 'OOC', too bad.
I enjoy Misato/Shinji stories, but they have to be done right. Something about the two characters just seems to fit. I also enjoy good Rei/Shinji stories. Not real big on Asuka/Shinji, but I can go with it if the story is done well. (With all of them, just make it plausible and somewhat believeable)
Gendo: Total, irredeemable bastard, not a tragic, misunderstood man with an impossible job to do. There are just too many things one can point to, to think otherwise. But, since this is fanfiction, I don't have a problem if he is portrayed the other way, so long as the author takes the time to adequately show us why we should believe it. (And it better be believable)
My Stories: Some begin as a simple quote a character might make, or part of a conversation they might have with another character. Sometimes I try to hit a specific theme, but most often something will just pop into my head and start playing out. If it flows on its own without a lot of trouble, it will likely turn out okay. Anything that doesn't come fairly easily usually gets reworked because it probably wasn't going to work in the first place. I can usually tell within the first page whether or not its going to fly. I constantly read and reread my work, looking for errors, scene flaws, continuity problems and checking the character's perspective on the scene. I also won't start posting a story until it's either done, or nearly done. I refuse to put out unfinished work.
Thanks for reading my stories. To any of you new readers who may have just discovered them, please drop a review on me and let me know what you think. Just because the story has been out for a while and doesn't mean you can't review it. I love reading the reviews and I appreciate the input, and whenever possible I will always try to respond even if it's just to say thanks. I take my writing seriously, because if an author doesn't, it shows. I try very hard to put out quality material for your enjoyment and your reviews let me know if I have succeeded and to what degree.
Remember, none of us are professional writers, and none of us should assume we're professional literary critics. Have an opinion, but be intelligent about it. Don't come off sounding like you are the 'great god of fan fiction'. We're here to have fun, so please, don't suck the life out of it.

08/27/08: New story uploaded.
As for what's next, I'm trying to pry some ideas out of my over caffienated brain. I am thinking of doing a story or two for Black Lagoon, and I am seriously considering adding chapters to Double Life. (there is no way that PenPen as a Shinigami isn't funny)
Feel free to let me know what you think, I would appreciate the input.
