Stuff I'm not too hot about: Politics and politicians, those who do not use correct spelling and grammar in their stories (it's not a big ask, really), preventing any sort of freedom for any being on this planet and people who can't be bothered to review stories if they really like it. Please do it, it's like a big pat on the back that can really help to improve people's writing.

Update (4th January): Hi, been a while huh? Did anybody else enjoy Eureka 7 as much as I did? Sure, it was a slow start, but the development of Renton and Eureka's relationship, from friendship to love, was something I quite enjoyed, as well as the ending. Finally, an anime that doesn't leave the romance until the last episode and still leave it hanging (Midori Days anyone?), shock, it actually developed well before the end. Nice. Neways, I've been busy, anime, video games, music, not failing uni and recovering from uni, so I thought, let's start writing again. So, I dunno, give me a week from today maybe? I'm on holidays for another two months yet, so with any luck, maybe I might write like crazy and finish the story, or at least build up a buffer. We can only hope...
Here's my list of all time fav couples. I'm only planning to write about them specifically so I'll let you know if I'm planning to write stuff about them.
NOTE: List is being revised, I would like to put Renton and Eureka from Eureka 7 on first place, for obvious reasons.
1. Shinji Ikari and Rei Ayanami / Neon Genesis Evangelion
These guys only got to the top of my list a little while ago but I don't think anyone is going to top them anytime soon. Why the no.1? Their relationship goes much deeper than any usual relationship. They're both starting to come to terms with their emotions, Rei more than Shinji obviously, but this makes the bond between them much more special. They support each other and appreciate everything about each other. There's probably other stuff too but I don't want to take up anymore space.
Possible stories: Idea for an AU, when I get around to it. Hmm, when have I said that before?
2. Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne / Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED Destiny
These two are so close to the top spot it's not funny. They match each other so well, it was really no surprise they were going to end up together. Although they might be slightly different, Kira a soldier and Lacus a peace advocate, they both are fighting for the same thing. I find it a bit unfortunate though, that it took so long for them to become really close because all they needed was a little kick start at the end of Seed for a closer relationship to get going. However, they both share a deep level of emotional understanding and have a connection that will never separate the two.
Possible stories: Not yet.
3. Heero Yuy and Relena Peacecraft / Gundam Wing
Another Gundam couple, you'd better believe it. I think the brilliant story Manifestations by Icis CW pretty much sums up the most likely situation for the pair. It needs to be said that Heero really is someone still trying to get to grips with emotion, although much more differently than Rei, who simply doesn't know how to express herself. Heero lacks emotion, but we all know Relena can put him in the right direction!
Possible stories: Maybe, I feel very inferior to the quality of Isis CW and I love the stories too much to change them. So basically, probably not!
4. Robin and Starfire / Teen Titans
I know what you're thinking, weird huh? I could easily say I don't really watch the show much but I am indeed a bit of a fan. I have to say now, that I see a relationship as something much deeper than attraction. This is another example. Although there are a lot of nice and fuzzy fanfics out there, it has to be said that Robin really is an emotionally troubled guy. He watched his parents get killed in front of him and spent a lot of time under Batman's wing (no pun intended). It's another scenario where Starfire is able to bring these feelings out from Robin and help him through it. Might I also recommend JulesFire as your first stop for this pair.
Possible stories: Nope.
5. Lan Hikari and Mayl Sakurai / Megaman Battle Network, Megaman NT Warrior
Lan really is dense isn't he, as Megaman points out, but then again, he's pretty clueless with Roll. Really, you think his hormones would have kicked in by now eh? Anyway, it can be confirmed they end up together (Battle Network 6) so there. I'm also going to include Megaman and Roll here because it's pretty obvious, heck, they're practically going out anyway, although Megaman doesn't seem to realise
Possible stories: No time.
6. Megaman X and Alia / Megaman X
Unfortunately, I don't think this pairing is ever looked at enough. Oh well, it just means that every fanfic I find is more special. These guys match so well it isn't funny, but looking at the official canon, they probably don't ever really get together, unless there is something in cyberspace that hasn't been documented.
Possible stories: Doubt it.
7. Ash Ketchum and Misty Waterflower / Pokemon
Yep, this is something I think needed to happen. May and Ash may be friends, but Misty is so much more suited for him. Misty and Ash also share a deep understanding of each other, also something May lacks. Wild Growlithe wrote a superb story which ties into the series so well, I can't believe it didn't happen. This begs the question though, why are all the guys so dense when it comes to girls in any sort of canon?
Possible stories: Nope, probably never too.
8. Danny Fenton and Sam Mason / Danny Phantom
Heh, yep, another cartoon couple. It's another case of them not being able to admit to each other. Although I think it does go a bit deeper than a high school crush. There are so many opportunities to get the two together it's not funny, but alas, relationships in shows like this and Teen Titans seem to be avoided for some reason, why is that?
Possible stories: Doubtful, don't have any ideas, don't expect anything.
9. Solar Boy Django and Lita / Boktai
Yep, my first game couple. It's not a case of Django being a dunce though, there's a definite bond between the two it's just that the games focus more on Django's plight against the darkness than anything else. It's also evident that Sabata ended up with Carmilla as well, as he mentions that he is with her in Boktai 2. I've noticed a sufficient lack of Boktai fanfics so I'm going to help change that! At my current pace, I should be finished by about 2012.
Possible stories: Updating, soonish...
10. Ein and Fia / Riviera
Another game one, well, I really wanted ten and this is what I aim for when I play Riviera. I'm sure opinions are mixed on this subject but I believe that Ein and Fia match the best. The inner kindness within the two is very similar and I think that Fia might have a bit of a crush on Ein from the beginning from the game. Fia seems to be very traditional in her relationship thinking, waiting until she finds someone she connects with deeply. When Ein comes along, despite his anmesia, he shows a willingness to help and protect his friends. When his memories are restored, his friendship and witness of the kindness of the people of Riviers convinces him to protect it from the sprites. If this doesn't mean Fia wouldn't have strong feelings, I don't know what would.
Possible stories: Doubtful, too many other story ideas at the moment.
Other couples: Robin/Raven (Teen Titans), Tessa/Sousuke, Kaname/Sousuke (Full Metal Panic), Amy/Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog), Domon/Rain (G Gundam), Joe/Francoise (Cyborg 009), most Shinji/(Female character) fics (NGE), Ichigo/Rukia, Ichigo/Orihime (Bleach), Renton/Eureka (Eureka Seven), probably others...
