Author has written 27 stories for Charlie Bone, Harry Potter, Robin Hood BBC, Worst Witch, Watchmen, and Twilight. 07-NOV-2009 Hello there. If you hadn't guessed from the top of the page, my name is Kimmeth. Welcome to my humble abode, and please make yourselves at home. Put your feet up on the Ikea footstool, have a cup of tea and a slice of my homemade chocolate chip marble cake. (I will happily give the recipe to anyone who asks.) First things first: I LOVE TO WRITE. I get a hella lot of ideas, and they strike me in the middle of writing other things... hence why the vast majority of my fics are unfinished, and unlikely to ever be finished. (Something Old Something New, Nottingham CID, Scorched and Continuation - I salute you. You were good friends. But I have run out of ideas.) Recently though, I've made a pledge to not start anything new until I finish the one I'm writing at the moment. Don't know how long I'll keep to it, but I can try. Second things second: I LOVE TO READ. I read a lot of Fanfiction. I read all sorts of genres, ratings and pairings. I read anything with an interesting summary but I will NOT read domestic abuse between canon spouses. Incest is also right out. I have no problem with people writing it. I just find myself very uncomfortable reading it. Anything else I am fine with. With pairings, I always think the best pairings are the originals, with one huge gaping exception: Robin Hood BBC - Marian and Guy were made for each other. So, me on fanfic in brief: Harry Potter, Charlie Bone: I do not write for these two anymore, and I rarely read them. I was very disappointed with the last HP book, and it has, over time, disillusioned me slightly. Robin Hood BBC: I'm still there. I rarely read anything but I hope I'll come back to 'Continuation'. Believe it or not, I have a full plot planned out. My favourite characters are obviously Marian and Guy. I like Much but I hate the rest of the outlaws, Rob included. I also was not the world's best fan of series three - Guy was the only thing keeping me watching. Watchmen: I only ever planned a brief skirmish in this fandom. I wanted to write a fic, I wrote it and a sequel, and my relationship with it came to a natural conclusion. My favourite character to write is Dan, my favourite character generally is Adrian but he's a br to write. Twilight: I am still here! I've got two fics on the go at the mo, writing in between chapters of 'Inferno'. My favourite characters are Esme, Carlisle and Rosalie. The rest I am indifferent to. Worst Witch: I'm here at the moment. 'Inferno' is going strong! I think everyone's favourite character is HB. I'm no exception. I also have a soft spot for Maud, and given my tendency to be indifferent to main characters I love Mildred. Staffroom scenes are fantastic, and I love all the teachers dearly. Cheesecake forever. Les Miserables: Recently got back into this thanks to NextChristineDaae. (Long story, involving handwarmers and CDs...) I am drafting an idea, but I need to read the unabridged version before I post it. My favourite character has always been and will always be Javert. Marius and Cosette annoy me, although Cos is ok when she's little. The rest I can take or leave but the Patron-Minette are kind of cool... Ok, I'll let you get your breath back now. My profile is constantly changing, but my avatar always remains the same - dahlias are my favourite flowers and no matter what my mother says, I WILL have them in my wedding bouquet.
