Author has written 14 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Bones. i'm 28, live in san francisco, and i'm a graduate student studying medicine and working with people who have been infected with HIV. i write for fun in my spare time, love reading, running along the beach, cooking -- and even through i seldom have time for tv, i make time for Bones. fanfic was something i discovered years and years ago when a friend of mine was writing her thesis on the subject. i thought it was the nuttiest thing i'd ever heard, and didn't understand why on earth people would write about tv characters for fun. years later, here i am, enjoying immensely what once confused the hell out of me -- my friend still teases me to this day. :) also... here's my little PSA. i tend to not write protected sex in my M rated fiction. often times it's mentioned, sometimes I don't bring it up. The reason for this is that it's fantasy, not reality. In reality, I work for an AIDS foundation, and i see what unsafe sex can do to people all the time. please, please, please practice safe sex. i hear every day from people that they can't believe they didn't protect themselves, that they didn't think to insist on it. fictional characters don't have to worry about STI's -- we, unfortunately, do.
