My name is unimportant. I have read many bad fanfics, and a few good ones over the years. Rarely does either get fairly reviewed. It's not fair. So, I will make an effort to give fair and helpful critics on the fics I come across here.

Don't take my criticisms personally, if you don't like the reviews I give. Believe it or not I'm trying to be helpful. No matter who reviews you or what they say, you shouldn't get discouraged; it's always the author's opinion that counts after all.

If I like a fic, I'll make it a point to say so. If, however, I don't like a fic, I will say why and offer suggestions for improvement. I will then return to the fic to see if the author heeds my advice.

I tend to dislike overly Mary-sue, self insertion, and song fics. Also I have very little tolerance for the lack of corrective editing (It's called spell/grammar check people!).

Another peeve of mine would be stories that lack originality. We've all seen it a million times, someone reads a fic (usually an o.c. centered one), and says to themselves "Hey that's neat; I'll go write a fic JUST LIKE IT only with MY character!" NO!

I may eventually dip my own pen, but first I'll explore this community a bit more to figure out the general atmosphere. Not for conformity related purposes, mind you, I simply wish be ensure that this is a fitting place for me as an author. I want to make sure that I can receive constructive and honest criticism as well.
