Author has written 47 stories for Power Rangers, Digimon, Heroes, Harry Potter, Zoey 101, Twilight, and Sonny with a Chance. I am a notorious fandom-hopper. Don't be surprised if one moment, I'm reading all the fics I can get my hands on in one fandom one week, and obsessing over a totally different one the next. Every writer is different, but I've found that for me, in order to finish a story - the writing has to be just as an adventure as the reading. I can outline every chapter, every scene - but I lose the will to finish the piece. I have vague notions of where I want the story to go - and suddenly, I'm pouring out words so fast, I've written a hand-full of chapters, shaping into a story. For me, writing scenes out of order helps get the ideas out, yet still have inspiration and willpower to continue writing. It's a weird tactic - not planning out my work before writing it - but so far, it's worked, and I can't be more happy about it. Many things in the world are objective - chemistry between two people (ie: ships, friendships), characteristics that are endearing (ie: characters), and people's taste or cup of tea (ie: fandoms). I will never try to sway you to ship what I ship or to like a character that I like. You have your opinion and I have mine - agree to disagree. If we get into a debate, fine, I'll explain myself. If you still don't understand, I'll continue to try and make you. But I'm not trying to make you ship that couple that I find adorable, sweet, cute, and hot, boiling in chemistry. I'm not trying to make you like that character that's awesome, hilarious, and so relate-able. I'm not trying to change your opinion - I'm just trying to let you see mine. I am against bashing of any kind - ship, character, or fandom. I don't like Twilight and can list several reason why I don't. But if you like Twilight, you like Twilight. So be it. I ship Miley/Oliver, you ship Oliver/Lilly - I don't get it, they're too much like siblings to me, but that's fine. I like Cook and Freddie - you think Cook's arrogant and Freddie's a funsponge. Good for you. I like Peter Stone, Peter Pettigrew, and Tess Harding as characters - they're interesting and very fun to write. I don't like them bashed. (Though the latter two I guess I can swallow since canonly they were evil, after all.) I think Trent Fernandez, Katherine Hillard, and Daisuke Motomiya are not given the respect they deserve as the awesome characters they are. The world is made up of unique people - not everyone thinks or feels in the same way. I ship canon couples, most of the time, and I love to follow canon. Some people are obsessive AU shippers/writers, and that's totally cool. I think friendships are so much more important than romances, and think that friendships are the basis for romances. Some people completely disagree. That's fine. Where would the world be without diversity? No where. So deal with it.
