Former Penname: Angel Wings-008. I had that name for around five or six years, but I felt it was time for a change. Greetings everyone! Welcome to my lair...(insert maniacal laughter). Let's cut the cheesy introductions out and just summarize main points to start: Name: Paige (Oh, the irony). Age: 20 Religion: Agnostic. In short, that means, 'I really don't give a shit.' Occupation: McHell. Don't go there, by the way. The food sucks. Education: High School Diploma. I plan to go back to school in the winter to get my degree in English/Creative Writing. No matter how much I've changed over the years, one thing remains the same. Writing is my passion. This girl isn't one to let go of her dreams. Now that that's out of the way, onward to personality traits. If you're still here, you might actually care to read them xD I'm a notorious procrastinator. I swear, my family motto must be, 'I'll do it tomorrow,' because my big brother and my dad are the same way. I can usually keep myself on task when it comes to writing stories, but that's pretty much it. It's sad, really. If I need to finish watching an anime or playing a game on a certain day, or if I'm meeting a writing deadline, I'm fine. If it's something else important that I have to do, say, pay a bill or sign up for school, I'm like. "Meh. Don't want to." ._. I'm an absent-minded dreamer, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Drifting off the way I do is how I get a lot of story ideas. I'm the girl you see walking down the street at night, staring up at the sky in an attempt to see the stars. They're beautiful to me. As for the clumsy part, at least it gives people something to laugh at. I'm such a clutz, I could trip over painted lines. I'm pretty goofy and random most of the time. A bit reserved, but much more outgoing than I used to be. I don't mind going to parties and interacting with people sometimes, but often I still find I prefer my own company or hanging out in small groups. My friends and I often play through video games/watch anime together, and even read fanfiction out loud to each other ;) Irony and sarcasm are my most loyal sidekicks, though I'm frustrated by the amount of people who can't detect them to save their lives. My attention span is about the equivalent of a squirrel's, too. That's what I like to call OSD ('Oooh, Shiny!' Disorder). Generally I'm a rather calm, friendly person to interact with. There isn't much you could do that truly invokes anger, but make no mistake; I have a nasty temper if you cross me. Several people online (those of whom shall remain anonymous) have learned that over the years in the forum I moderate. Another thing. Honor and honesty are the highest virtues to me. There's nothing I hate more than a liar, or someone who treats people unfairly. Therefore, I am honest to the point of being blunt. If I think you're an idiot, I'll tell you so. If your story sucks, I'm going to tell you it sucks. If it needs work, I'll give you helpful advice and point you in the right direction. Take it how you will, but for the most part, I always mean well. I don't hold grudges for long no matter what you do, nor do I make many enemies. If you've done enough to me to earn a place on my shit list, you probably deserve it. If you earn my respect and show that I can trust you, I will be your most loyal ally. Betray me, and you'll find the knife you stuck in my back embedded into yours. I am your best friend until you prove to me that you are not worthy of that. Don't like that? Cry about it. I don't really care. I'm sorry, but it's who I am. Deal with it, or don't. Makes no difference to me. Those who matter stick by me, and I to them. If anyone actually cares what I look like, I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and I'm also short. I've come to terms with it though. Gravity prefers me :D. I also can't see anything without my glasses. Other than that, I really can't say. No one honestly sees themselves very clearly in terms of appearance, do they? I've also been told that I have a brilliant mind and I tend to agree, but again, I can't honestly give an un-biased opinion without sounding like an asshole. My forum buddies call me Angel, and I am a mod at one ^_^. You can catch me at LFE (The Longest Forum Ever), or the DAWC (Dragon Age Writer's Corner). I also like to lurk at the LU just for laughs, but I don't really post there. If there's something about my writing that is flawed or that could be improved, please let me know. A writer's work is never done! I am not under the impression that my work is flawless, trust me. From Humble Beginnings Yup. Even I was a beginner at one point. Gah, I feel so old. I first started writing when I was about eleven years old, if that crap I used to produce can actually be called writing. I still take out my old notebooks sometimes and laugh at how terrible everything in them is. I remember hearing about fanfiction on the internet, and reading some of it. I was ecstatic. "What, you mean I can actually write my own stories with all of my favorite characters? No way!" It was love at first sight. I didn't post until I was thirteen, and like most of us out there when we first start writing, I sucked. Seriously. Looking back at my first few stories posted on here, I hate them. They're, "I can't believe people gave me good reviews for these," bad. I left a few fanfics from those days up, so you can look at them and cringe if you want. I know I do. But, I certainly enjoyed it, regardless of the fact that I didn't know what I was doing. Can't be all bad in light of that, especially seeing how awesome I am now ;). Lol. As a matter of fact, you can kind of read my earlier stories as a timeline and record of my skills as I've grown up, all in varying degrees of good and bad. I think it gives me character :D That's why I can't bring myself to modify any of them, even when I see so many things I could have done better. This way I can look back at what I did wrong, and fix my mistakes in current projects. It helps me learn what works and what doesn't.
