Author has written 30 stories for Kingdom of Heaven, Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, CSI: Miami, Underworld, Taken, Naruto, Resident Evil series, Strange Angels, Lili St. Crow, X-Men: The Movie, Avatar, Avengers, Walking Dead, and Boondock Saints. Well it's been a long time since I've changed this profile, about time for a spring cleaning I think. I'm pretty different than who I used to be, and so I might as well update who I have become from who I used to be. I'm now a college student and although I try to control it, this usually is what consumes most of my life. I'm working towards my Bachelors degree for Psychology, and then later my PsyD in the same field, possibly with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. I was so lucky to get into the only school in my area that has a PsyD program, because I don't know about you, but I don't fancy spending the rest of my life crunched over tables in labs working on research. Speaking of where I live- I live in what I think is possibly the best place on earth- Honolulu, Hawaii. I was formerly a country girl (although NOT a redneck) and have since moved to the 'big city' and I am loving every single minute of it. Its expensive and so completely different from where I used to live (the rural sticks of a small South Carolina town) but I have never felt more alive, challenged, and intrigued in any other place. I recently came back from my first trip abroad, two weeks in the City of Lights! Best vacation EVER and if I had unlimited funds and free-time I would go back in an instant. Probably not to live, it's too cold and too crowded, but I'd love to do study abroad in Paris and spend three or four months there really getting to know the city and seeing every single thing it has to offer. I have been an avid writer since I was about thirteen (even before then I would come up with short stories.) It has been one of the biggest impacts on my life, and if I could, I would do it professionally, but since I know how hard it is to get famous as a writer, I'm in school for Psychology. I have written several books already, all remain unpublished, and if anybody has any help/advice to offer about publication, PLEASE tell me. I have written everything form Sci-Fi to Medieval/Fantasy to Romance to Horror to Action/Adventure to Mystery. I'm still working on my comedy. I tend to be very serious when I write but I'm working on adding in humor when appropriate =) I'm actually pretty funny and lighthearted in my regular life so I'm not sure why its such a stretch to inject it into my writing. If I had my way, I'd either be a famous novelist, OR a screen writer, either would be incredible. Music has been the other biggest influence on me besides my writing. I am absolutely addicted to music, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If I'm not in the shower or on a date I typically have my earbuds in with a song going on my iPod. Even when I'm sleeping sometimes. I listen to all genres except for screamo/death metal. Not too big on rap either, but some is really good. My go to genres are by far Rock and Pop and Pop/Rock. My favorite bands/artists are VersaEmerge, Paramore, Halestorm, Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, Rhianna, Tokio Hotel, Flyleaf, The Runaways, The Eagles, Fall Out Boy, Fleetwood Mac, Framing Hanely, Icon For Higher, Kelly Clarkson, Lost Prophets, The Pretty Reckless, and many others. I have so many individual favorite songs that it would take far too long to name them all, but some of the ones I have been listening to recently are Howl, Blinding, and Seven Devils all by Florence and the Machine. I am drawn to both deep, thought provoking, metaphorical lyrics as well as raw, visceral, in your face lyrics. My ultimate fantasy is to be the lead singer in a rock band that makes it big. I actually can sing and play guitar, but the jury is out whether my skills could ever be up to par to actually do it for a living. There's obviously a lot more about me, but I'll try not to keep you too long. I wouldn't say I'm one of those people that is surrounded by friends- I'm one of those who have a few very, very close friends that I have known for years and love very deeply. Romantically speaking...Well...I'm challenged in that department, but who isn't. The serial daters can't settle down and the recluses like me can't get a phone call to save their life. This is probably why I find myself writing about confused, passionate emotions that lead to stupid decisions. Ok, moving on... I always like to get feedback, it makes my Muse very happy and lets me know what you all think about my work so I can make changes if necessary. At the moment I am in the process of writing my very first The Walking Dead fic, and the feedback has been absolutely fantastic so far. Normally I am a one-shot type writer (at least when it comes to fanfiction) so I am absolutely thrilled that one of my longer, plotted out ideas is getting attention.
