Why I'm Here: To improve my oh so crappy writing. So, reviews, especially those with some severe constructive criticism, are appreciated, although not necessary. Also, I like reading stories here. I've been here for a while and only published a handful of fanfics, so you see which one I tend to do more often. Although I really do adore writing.

Random About My Fic Taste: It's taken me a LONG time, but now I can appreciate hetero as well as shounen-ai and the rest of it. Before I could barely stomach straight pairings (typical yaoi fangirl reaction, ne?) Now I'm good to go. I think it has something to do with my hormones. If there are any recommendations you have, feel free to give me a PM and I'll see to it!

Vi's Recommendations

Before you go any further...LEAVE! The FFnet community is gigantic and there are tons of writers who write with so much finesse and eloquence that if I tried to write like that, I'd go to jail because I suck that much compared to them. Here are some authors you need to check out.

Aisaki Sumi- The author that began my downward spiral into fanfiction. Writer of Cardcaptor Sakura fics, she captures the very essence of the characters in her stories, every single time. I've been following this author for years. A recommended story is Through A Looking Glass 平安京の櫻物語. Please, you need to read this thing. Through A Looking Glass is a historical fiction and she has obviously put a lot of time and effort into researching it, so I'm sure she would appreciate it if you took some time to read it.

killah-sama - The -sama honorific is totally deserved. Totally awesome girl who pens funny and sweet DNAngel shounen-ai stories, you should be condemned for your sin: the sin of not having read her stories before. Recommended are Why The Caged Bird Sings and The Other Side. Why The Caged Bird Sings is possibly the most hilarious DNAngel fic I have ever read. The plot is very creative and original, and the writing is top-notch. If you don't read this, you will live out the rest of your life feeling like you are missing something and wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat evey single night. Seriously. You'll also get a giant mole on your nose that moves around when you talk.

SanadaSayuri - Writer of the ever-elusive KakashixNaruto stories, SanadaSayuri owns the Naruto fandom. Not literally, but she should. Recommended is Mended Hearts. It's a story where Naruto has an alter-ego type thing, and it is done excellently. The KakashixNaruto relationship is complex and well-thought out, and the action of the story is actually...active. Please check this out!

Translations of my Work!

No Respite - The Spanish translation of my Teen Titans fanfic of the same name. Done by the lovely Noir Scarlet, and I'm very pleased to say that I read it (yes, my required clases of Spanish actually paid off and I could understand it!) and felt it accurately portrayed the feel I was going for.

What am I working on now?

Well...I'm easing myself back into writing, so:

1. Spelldrops - Why? It's simple. It's not too difficult to think about.
2. Confluence - KakaNaru has been calling me. It really has. And I think I've got all the plot points laid out so I can write a pretty decent work.
3. Medium - This one's probably going to be no pairing, or just hints of...well, everything xD But I'll work on that when inspiration arrives.
4. Anything else that comes to mind. (smile)

Vi's Upcoming Works

Medium

DNAngel. Rated T for violence and language. Drama/Adventure. Series. One is the latest in his family's lineage of mediums, who do their best to hide the genetic trait that could potentially ruin them. The other is a member of the Church, champion of the Lord, but a dark secret lingers inside. These secrets they carry will burden them heavily, but also bond them together in an eternal friendship.

Confluence

Naruto. Rated T, most likely. Action/Adventure/Romance. Series. Hatake Kakashi understands more than anyone the importance of the past. But not even he knows truly how important it is, as lost memories are unfolded. Kakashi will have to begin looking towards the future to save the past.

Plot Bunnies

Guardian Gates Spinoff

Perhaps a continuation of the story, with more focus on Krad, Satoshi, and the twins. I've been thinking about it. OR just a collection of one-shots after the end of Guardian. Possible situations: visiting the in-laws, watching the artist, awkward meetings, etc.

Whodunit

DNAngel. Rated T for sexual humor and language. Comedy. Length undetermined, possibly a series. Detective Satoshi Hikari is called to the Niwa mansion to investigate the sudden death of Daisuke Niwa. The suspects are called and rounded up, and the inevitable chaos follows. Currently taking bets on how long the detective can survive the insanity. (AN: Surprisingly, this one has no pairings.)

Untitled

Naruto. Probably T. Comedy/Romance/Historical. A short series. Kakashi is a wealthy Grecian, and he's never found much interest in the erastes/eromenos culture, preferring to chase women around instead. But when he finds himself in trouble with the city elders, they force him to find an eromenos, hoping to raise the man's sense of responsibility. Unfortunately, the one Kakashi picks turns out to be a spitfire blonde with no intention of letting anyone claim him. Hence, the battle begins.

I've decided it's high time I get back to writing. Although my focus is moving towards my own original fiction, I still enjoy writing fanfiction. So expect me to be active again soon :D I just need to write something now and post it up soon...
