Author has written 3 stories for Prison Break, Twilight, and Ouran High School Host Club.

Hello everyone!

I'm E.G. Sparks- nice to meet you! You may be wondering, as I'm sure some do, just what I'm doing on FF.net and why on earth I'm posting these random stories. Well, that I can answer. I'm a daydreamer who loves to write. Simple, no?

I began writing fan-fiction almost 5 years ago with a different pen name, a BTVS story-line, regular TV show charges, and an obsession (and I do mean obsession) with drama, all of which swirled and melded together into one brilliantly abysmal excuse for an addition to this site. Blinded by the glory of 60 reviews, however, I convinced myself that I was a fantastic writer.

After the initial slop, another story followed, and another, and another, and while each was becoming gradually more legible than the last, it still wasn't improving that much, and my schoolwork was quickly paying the price. I took a sabbatical from the site for a few months and returned to an overwhelming sense of horror as I reread each poorly written story and chapter. Until last year, I'd thought that was the end of my FF.net fun. It would seem I was wrong.

So here I am with some new stories and fandoms, hopefully now written in much better form. Tell me what you think, but please respect that I will delete, ignore, and snort with laughter over any reviewer who thinks that saying "dude, this sucked" is a review. It's not. If you want to critique my form, my voice, my style, my faithfulness to a fandom, or anything similar, be pleasant and constructive. If you can form an opinion, you should be able to express why you did or didn't like it, or at least what bothered you about it. Anyone can say something sucked. It takes someone to say why.

Thank you if you read this far, and I hope you enjoy the stories posted here.

Update:
As you may have noticed, my updates are sporadic and spaced out. Believe me, it's not to be evil. I'm just starting college, working through a writing course, trying to keep up with family/friends, and randomly working on anime fan-fiction for an online magazine that will be coming out in September (we hope). When I can get something worthy of your time out of my keyboard, I'll post it, but if I can't stand to read it, I don't want to put it up here like it's something worth reading. That'd be cruel to you, cruel to FF.net... really to humanity in general.

Keep tuned in!

P.S. I just noticed a few minutes ago that I really have the "break" theme going into my story titles, don't I? Weird... I wonder what psychological oddity that points towards.

Trivial Fact #1

Whilst I was still in the Buffy verse years back, I ran across an author that seemed to be having great fun with her disclaimers. In fact, I usually read those more than her fan-fictions. They had a story, humor, insanity... 3 major ingredients for a hyper time in my mind. With Prison Break: Break Away, I started writing somewhat random disclaimers as well that change with each chapter, but aren't posted with the chapters for several reasons, including: their tone doesn't fit with the suspense story, I forgot to post the first one because it wasn't in my original document, etc, etc. So. If you'd like to read them, I'll post them here. If you wouldn't, I still hope you're enjoying Prison Break: Break Away.
Disclaimer #1: Prison Break is not my idea. If it was, I'd be hanging out with Wentworth Miller and discussing literature or the show's story lines. I'm not, thus I didn't come up with the show.
Disclaimer #2: No, I didn't create Prison Break nor do I have the rights to it. If I did, I'd be sitting beside Wentworth Miller on the behind-the-scenes clips and trying not to fall over because I'd be giggling so hard. Hmm. You're thinking it's best I didn't create it, huh? Yeah, well, I know you'd enjoy all those bloopers if I had.
Disclaimer #3:Well, guess who I saw on TV the other day? Wentworth. And you know what? He was on this show that said Prison Break didn't belong to moi. gasps Can it be true? Am I only a fan that's writing alternative plot-lines for fun? Yes. It's true. Here, with this story, I have no rights or ownership to or of the characters and story.
Disclaimer #4: So I pulled up Prison Break on IMDB.com the other day and guess what? It listed the creator as Paul Scheuring... which isn't my name. Hm. Guess I didn't create it then, and so own none of the characters or plot-lines.

Trivial Fact #2

I love Fullmetal Alchemist, Final Fantasy, and a mixture of characters from other anime fandoms, so expect and keep an eye out for the misc. mentions. I'll try and list them here as I come to them, for your enjoyment and my memory.
Fullmetal Alchemist:
Chapter 4-
Amanda is listening to "Bratja" on the way to the motel. "Bratja" is (as far as I know) a Russian song from the Fullmetal Alchemist soundtrack. Also mentioned here is the song "Melissa," another Fullmetal song.

Music Sources

Yes, I love music. It adds so much to a scene, whether you're the writer or the reader. Some of my earlier works, I just pasted the lyrics directly into the story. I hated how distracting it was but loved the idea of people being able to know the songs I felt added so much to the emotional feel. How else could I get the music in? Well, once again, God leads us in many things and I believe He led me to the now all-too popular music codes that are available around the web. So if I tell you there's music in a chapter, expect a link to it here. I don't own this music nor do I claim any right to it. In fact, I would love it if these artists saw some more business because of links like this.
Chapter 4- Rihanna's "Unfaithful" (if the link doesn't work, cut and paste this into a new Internet window--http://wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/rihaunfa.wma)

My first Ouran High School Host Club fanfiction, focusing on the Hitachiin brothers. This was written for an emag with the theme of back to school, so it does have a bit of that air to it, but I've tried to keep it true to the show. Reviews appreciated
