Explanation:

I have been a lurker of fanfiction.net for years, yet I've never actually dived into writing. Plenty of ideas on notebook paper, but nothing officially typed up in a document manager. Now, that's going to change. I've seen the difference simply writing can make. Whether that piece of writing is serious or whimsical - it helps. The effects trickle down into schoolwork and life opportunities. Hence, you will all witness my attempt to write drabbles and ficlets and oneshots (or more) - all in preparation for my future. Plus, I've been needing a dumping ground for my favorites.

Perserverance shall be my aim here. I plan to write mostly short fics of the drabble and ficlet nature - like challenges and prompts. Why? I feel these are good exercises in the art of writing. As for other details, I am a sixteen year old girl, and I have a blunt personality. Hence, the name. I dabble in all sorts of fandoms, so one never knows what I'm going to be writing or reading. I don't consider myself discriminatory either, so don't be surprised to find a real variety in my favorites.

I have two older sisters, one of which is an active writer here. Tanuki-dono serves as a conduit for ideas and a cheerleader for my development. It gets annoying, really, but I appreciate it deep down.
