Author has written 10 stories for Fire Emblem, Gundam Seed, Riviera, Naruto, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, and Prince of Tennis.

Hello there, Reader. Had a nice day?

Around here I'm known as Big Sister Kitty, which is a silly name for an equally silly girl, I admit. I'm eighteen, and Chinese, but I happily live my life among Filipinos, half-Filipinos, half-Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Americans, Europeans--occasionally African--people. Especially in college.

I'm in my sophomore year now, studying Literature and hoping to get a degree in Creative Writing, though I've only recently passed the qualifying exams for my major subjects, so my knowledge of Literature so far has been accumulated from some introductory classes for general education, books, and informal lessons from those willing to teach me. So whenever I review, I'll doubtless go back to my lessons, though the good author must note that I am still an amateur whose comments may as well be irrelevant, or even useless, where the good author sees fit. I still have a long way to go before I obtain that coveted degree, let alone acquire the necessary skills to post something reasonably decent online.

Obviously, I haven't been updating my fanfiction as often as I should. I try, but I find it's easier to update my LiveJournal account, since essays and the like are much more convenient to write. Prose has its constraints, with fancy things like the Aristotelian incline, organic unity, verisimilitude, etcetera, etcetera, that keep you from writing just about anything. True, fanfiction deals away with most of these constraints, as it can be written in a variety of forms like the drabble, the character study, or what-have-you, but I find it more rewarding if I stick to the difficult and sometimes restrictive conventions of Literature, unless I feel the need to write something postmodern--whatever that really is.

Well, I haven't been entirely successful in producing fiction of that quality, but I'm learning--it's what college is for.

About me...hmm, I suppose the only thing of real import to anyone coming here is that I give rather long, substantial reviews to any story that I decide to review. I especially have a soft spot for struggling writers, being one myself, so I'm only too happy to help. You have the options of either PMing me or sending me an email.

I used to give less-than-stellar reviews before, and I'm thoroughly ashamed of them, so...yeah. Oh, and I'm generally nice when I review, though of course I won't just flatter the author. Concrit is necessary for a quality review. I want to improve my skills, so I'd like it if someone pointed out what I did wrong. So I'll accept any story as long as it isn't slash, or rated M (despite the fact that I'm legally old enough for that sort of thing, heh), and as long as the author is willing to take the good with the bad. I will always give my honest opinion, and that includes both the positive and the negative aspects of a story. So if you only want flattery, do us both a favor and don't waste our time with your story.

Well, I drop by every now and again. I have a wide scope of fandoms, but I mostly stick around in places with good forums, so I can connect with fans of whatever show/book/video game I happen to fangirl at the moment.

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't updated any of my multichaptered fics in a very long time.

Really sorry about that. (Is schoolwork allowed to be an excuse?) I hope to update everything by Christmas. Thank you for your patience!
