About: I love to read, and I will read just about anything good, but my main focus on this site is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Im not the cartoon and kid show kind of type actually, I'm a hard rock and no BS kind of guy. You push me and I BEAT YOU! but other than that I'm a nice guy, lol.

I dont know why ATLA grabs me, but it just seems so much better than your average cartoon. It has an intricate plot, great graphics, and meaningful characters. I truly enjoy watching it, and I love reading some of the fanfiction people come up with.

I am very aware of the shipping going on with this show, and I will state now that I am all for KATAANG! It has to happen, it is just a magical relationship that Aang and Katara share, full of passion, kindness, beauty and of course love. All of the episodes show clearly that Aang loves her with all his heart, and he would do anything for her, just to make her happy. Im convinced that he would forsake his duty as Avatar and die for her if need be, he just cares that much. Katara seems to love him too, though she never acknowledges her feelings for what they are, it is still evident that she cares on a very emotional level. I hope that they get together soon, although it most likely will not happen until the very last few episodes.

I follow Kataang so closely that I never read Zutara fics. Thats not to say that the authors who write them are bad at what they do, or that their stories are in anyway faulty. I just cant bring myself to read material in which Katara falls for Zuko, who has long been their nemisis, and leaves Aang broken hearted. It's really just too depressing for me. Most of these stories make Aang out to be weak, or emotionally unstable, incapable of love and unable to achieve much of anything. He has even been paired off with Toph, which will absolutely never happen, no brainer there. They can't stand each other, and have never had a tender moment. Neither have Zuko and Katara really, people continue to insist they have, but I don't believe it. As for Aang being made out to be weak or emotionally unstable, that is utter bs. Aang is the equivilant of Jesus Christ to these people. (I'm not religious, so no offence all ye church goers) Seriously, step back and think about the similarities. Anyway, once he realizes his true capabilites, and his youth falls away, he will be undefeatable. Thats right, Aang will totally OWN Zuko, as well as anyone else who poses a threat to him. (or Katara for that matter :)

Oops, I seem to have rambled on... well, just goes to show my support I suppose. Anyway, if you, like me, love to read quality Kataang fics, then I am happy to welcome you as a friend, and feel free to PM me anytime, I check in frequently. Sadly, I do not write, I have thought about it, and maybe someday I will. I have many ideas floating around inside the sarcophagus of my mind, but for now that is where they stay. If you are a Zutara fan, I salute you, knowing that if you believe your views as passionately as I do mine, then I have no right to dissuade or abuse them.

Amazing Authors:

Ecanus- By far one of the most talented writers I have had the great fortune to stumble accross, if only you wrote more stories, I would drink in every drop of your tales as if they were the only thing that would quench my thirst.

Amira Elizibeth- Amazingly gifted, her work on some stories has left me almost to the point of tears.(A highly uncommon phenomenon, I assure you) If you enjoy quality Kataang fluff, and have not yet read The History of A Kiss, I highly recomend that you do so.

Liselle129- A great writer, with several oneshots that are worth reading. However, it is her mult-chaptered story that has truly grabbed my attention. Avatar In Training is a wonderful fic that I would highly recomend. I hope Liselle continues to write such great stories for others to read.

Moira2- If words were pictures, Moira would paint scenes that soothed the eyes and softened the heart. Her installment, Breath of Silver Heart of Gold, is beautiful beyond reason, and never have I read another story with such realistic OCs. While updates are long in coming, they are most certainly well worth the wait.
