Author has written 3 stories for Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, Labyrinth, and Shakespeare. Once upon a time, I attempted to generalize the sort of stuff that I write. That shattered under the weight of two blows: firstly, that I seldom write anything at all, and secondly, that I can surprise even myself. I hereby resign the attempt. ~l~ My habits for reading stories up here are likewise a trifle erratic: sometimes I abandon the place for weeks altogether, but then there are days where I dive into most fandoms I know anything about. In my more moderate wanderings, I typically look into the following: Garth Nix (variously Keys to the Kingdom or Abhorsen) Cadfael Jane Austen Lord Peter Wimsey Shakespeare Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell I also still occasionally hunt about for Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell fics that are not in it's own nifty section and collect them together in my C2 - The King's Ravens. Should you still find yourself deficient in Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell fanfiction, I would recommend the LiveJournal group, The Famulus. ~l~ 'Well, now,' you say, 'I'm sure that's all very nice, but what about you? Who and what are you?' I live in the U.S.; I grew up on the west coast, currently live in the south and attend a university on the east coast. Fascinatingly, the town in which I grew up and my university are on opposite ends of the same highway. My likes are various, somewhat capricious and not very well mirrored in the above listing of favorite fandoms. In particular, I am exceedingly finicky with regard to those works which are my especial favorites, and I avoid certain fandoms more or less indiscriminately though I very much love the original movie or book(s). I play the viola and compose music occasionally for that instrument and occasionally to make poems into songs (so far, one from JS&MN and five from Tolkien). I enjoy languages, and am currently studying Latin, Ancient Greek and German. At college, I act in plays put on by the Shakespeare club. | |||||||||
