NEW CHAPTER NOTIFICATIONS: If you have IIYB in your story alerts, then you will have recieved a notification today (23rd April) saying that chapter 40 or something has been uploaded. Of course, chapter 40 hasn't been uploaded, it's actually the rewrite of chapter 20. Every ten chapters I am going to delete the original version and upload the new chapter, but unfortunately that will always appear in your alerts as chapter 40. Sorry about that. So yeah, chapter 20 has just been rewritten. I've explained more about it in the AN of the chapter.

It's In Your Blood has received nearly four thousand hits in less than a month! Pretty awesome. Please drop me a review and share the love!

I've deleted my Maximum Ride and Twilight fanfictions on here, as I doubt I will ever get around to finishing Queen of Hearts, and Congratulations which was just old and getting in the way. I've organised the story information for my Covenant stories below, such as giving the series an official overall name (This, Our Chaos), rather than just referring to it by 'IIYB' all the time.

Due to getting so many hits, favourites etc for It's In Your Blood even four years on, I've decided to rewrite it. There will be no serious plot change, if any, as I am focusing on the quality of writing, better characterisation and a clear up of any continuity errors.

Every few chapters, I am going to 'delete' a chapter, and then replace it with the new one, which will cause any watchers of the story to receive alerts. This will probably annoy most of you, but I hope you will approve of my rewriting of IIYB. Sure, you can say it's a shameless plug of my story, but hey. C'est la vie.

THIS, OUR CHAOS

A Covenant series that was published on here in 2008, and is currently in the process of being rewritten in 2012. It includes all members of the Covenant, with a primary focus on Pogue, and later Reid and Tyler. All the main stories and additional oneshots are described in further detail below.

Part 1: It's In Your Blood - Complete. BEING REWRITTEN (see above)

The past holds secrets greater than you would ever imagine. When the child of Pogue's father's secret love affair is left without a mother, the Covenant have to decide whether they can open up their homes and hearts to a broken girl with a troubled past. It seems that the dirty streets of London hold more than gangs and grime as the Sons are thrown into an emotional fight for their love and their lives. Reid finds himself torn between loathing and adoration, whilst baby boy Tyler steps up the mark. It's gonna be hell of a journey, that's for sure. [ReidxOC, TylerxOC, CalebxSarah, PoguexKate]

Part 2: Today We Die - Complete.

Happiness isn't eternal, unfortunately, and the Sons soon find themselves fighting to save everything they hold dear. The responsibility and intensity of being in a relationship gets to Reid, whilst Ryanne learns that sometimes people don't stay dead. And, like always, when things seem to be going right, the Covenant realise that maybe they are cursed as something beautiful is stolen from them. When faced with the evils of the supernatural and the pain of normal life, it's surprising which one is the most frightening. Will they pull through the toughest challenge yet? Part 3: Flux Terminus - In progess. [temporary hiatus]

It's time the next generation take the stand. The new Sons of Ipswich learn what it's like to be on their own, and how to deal with the issues of school, teenagehood, love and witchcraft. The five young Sons question themselves and each other, while the one daughter feels like she's not part of the family and starts digging through things better left alone. Then, a shock threatens to destroy the family, and a new evil surging up means old faces resurfacing. Again the fight between normal and paranormal takes its toll - will the Covenant of Silence ever find peace? [Covenant Children plus ReidxOC, TylerxOC, CalebxSarah, PoguexKate]

Ingrained fear and doubt clouds Ryanne's judgement as she's faced with the biggest leap she's ever known. Can she take the long walk down the isle? Will Reid still be at the end by the time she gets there? [Post-IIYB, pre-TWD, ReidxOC]
