Completed Stories

1. Rebirth - One-shot. A short story about how Kenshin finds the strength to move forward once he has left the Ishin Shishi. he has to learn to live in a world in which he is a stranger. Looking at life beyond the raw and unschooled idealism of the Battousai is difficult but he finds hope even for himself in the unconscious gesture of a young woman. COMPLETED AND POSTED.

2.Blood - Ok. My first attempt at yaoi. And, Rava-chan's violent reaction included I'm pretty happy with it. It's a Ban X Akabane fic. Ban gets cornered by Akabane in a dark alley and the rest is for you to read. Ban. Akabane. Steamy. Enough said.

New Story !!

Paper Moon- When he is a child, Kenshin witnesses a man slaughter the only family he knows. He vows to avenge their deaths and kill the monster who made him an orphan. When he grows up he leaves the village for Kyoto, where he finds friendship, comrades and love. But life's path is not always easy, and Kenshin must make important decisions that will affect the course of not just his life but also the fate of a nation.

Ongoing Stories

I'm working on these stories at the moment although I have the seeds of two more Rurouni Kenshin stories strolling around in my head. I'll begin them if they refuse to leave the cramped space inside my skull. However, as of now, current stories:-

1. A Game of Chess - This is my latest story. It's a bit more, actually, a LOT more dark and murky than anything I've written before. Kenshin and Kaoru are involved in a suffocating, illicit relationship that Kaoru wants to break at one instant, and keep alive in the next. Kaoru swerves between overwhelming feelings of guilt and ecstasy as she tries to figure out how to deal with Kenshin, who just happens to be Tomoe's fiancee. Angsty.

January 18th 2009: CHAPTER 7 POSTED! I am not going to look at the date last updated...

2. Love, Lies and Empire - Chapter 14 UP! Thought and written the beginning of chapter 15 in my head, all i have to do now is to transfer it to my laptop. Oh when are we getting close to those telekinetic clairvoyant dictaphone type-ish things?

3. The Mage and the Swordsman - Chapter 5 UP! Kenshin gets acquainted with Pai Mei, the spirit of the legendary swordsman who is trapped inside his own sword because of a terrible, terrible curse. I am stuck...this has got to be the hardest story I'm writing. ON HIATUS

4. The Battousai's Return - Modern day AU. Chapter 6 UP!When Kenshin finds out that Shishio has been betrayed by the Ishin Shishi, he returns to avenge his former comrade’s murder by hunting down the men who condemned him to death. But when someone beats him to the kill, he realizes that there is more than meets the eye. BK.

Chapter 7 Posted - November 16th 2008

Kenshin lets Kaoru go and learns the truth behind Shishio's death from Katsura. It is time for everyone to make decisions. Kenshin must decide whether or not to avenge the only friend he knew in his days as the Battousai, Kaoru must decide whether she has the courage to accept the connection she feels for Kenshin, the Oniwabanshu must also decide how far they are willing to go with Kenshin on his vendetta.

5. Annals of Empire - One-shots from the Love, Lies and Empire universe. These are just little stories and conversations and thoughts that couldn't be accomodated within the main story however deserve telling. Pairings will vary and tangle. All the characters shall be featured. The one-shots may or may not be yaoi depending on the characters. The last two drabbles were on Kenshin and Shishio respectively. Starting now, it would be a good idea to read both the drabbles and story together since I may be including references to scenes and events talked about in the drabbles in the main story. So if you miss those, you might get confused later, thinking when something or the other happened.

6. That Familiar Stranger - Ban X Kazuki. I had been planning this one for a looooooooooong time. One of my favorite pairings! Kazuki comes to meet Ginji for the first time since he left Mugenjou, but what lingers in his mind after the meeting is not Ginji's sunny laugh but Ban's brooding face, his intense eyes and the strange smile that tugs at his lips. Why does he feel this way? THIS STORY IS ON HOLD.

7. Poise - Modern Day. AU. Yui Hongo is a defeated teenager on the brink of committing suicide when her boyfriend Taka dumps her for Miaka. But a chance encounter with fashion photographer Nakago changes her life forever. Now in the limelight, can she forget Taka and move on or will her obsession with him destroy all chances of happiness. major pairings Yui/Nakago, Yui/Tasuki. minor pairing Taka/Miaka. THIS FIC IS STUCK, DUE TO LACK OF TIME. SORRY! I may update this one before I leave for Delhi. (crosses fingers)

8. The Dance of the Firefly- AU. An assasin escapes from imprisonment. When he is trying to find the house of a spy among the villagers who can help him return to the Ishin Shishi he enters the wrong house and ends up killing a man. He takes his daughter hostage and threatens to kill her if she does not lead him to safety. That one act changes both their lives and the destiny of a nation forever. BKK. CHAPTER 4 has been UP for some time now!

10. That Familiar Stranger - Ban and Kazuki meet for the first time at Ginji's behest. Sparks fly. Now Kazuki wants to get rid of a certain problem. A Jagan Master problem. Ban X Kazuki. ON HOLD.

Upcoming Stories - Moderately planned out

1. Gangsters - This a modern day AU fic. It's Get Backers in a kind of gang war scenario. I'm just thrashing out the outline at the moment, keep you posted on it.

Change of plans. I won't be posting this until I finish at least one of my ongoing stories which may be a while, but keep a lookout! This story rocks!

4. No Working Title yet - Modern Day AU. Saitou-centric fic. This is a VERY rare pairing. Saitou-Megumi. Saitou Hajime is a cop who is sick of seeing criminals being let off by technicalities in the law. His problems increase when his superiors suggest his values are obsolete and can no longer fit into the new justice system. Disillusioned, Saitou is forced to go on vacation when he hears of a string of deaths occuring in very mysterious circumstances. What piques his interest even more is that these are all unconvicted criminals. Saitou's life is thrown into chaos as a mysterious web of death, justice and revenge begins to weave around him. And why is a certain female doctor always in his way when he's close to a clue? Saitou/Megumi. Kenshin/Kaoru.

Hey can anybody come up with a title. it's about Saitou so please help out!

5. Blades and Bullets -

Genre: Action/Adventure/Gangs/Supernatural

Anime: Rurouni Kenshin

Rating: M for violence, a lusty Enishi and swordplay

Summary: The police are the watchdogs of society, the protectors of the innocent and champions of weak…..but not in Kowloon City. Law and order have no place in this hell, where the refuse of mankind and its monsters reign. Crimson tides of blood sweep through the alleys where men and women fight to keep every last scrap to themselves. Only two kinds of people can survive here. The ruled and the rulers. The ruled are the pawns who dance to the tune to the people who rule them. They are the dogs who will yelp and bark at the slightest indication from their masters.

Kaoru Kamiya is a pickpocket who has slipped through the watchful eyes of society and gotten lost inside this phantom city. She tries her best to pick pockets and stay out of sight, or better still invisible. Because what cannot be seen is Kowloon is safe, the rest is fair game, to be beaten, killed or raped. Her invisible existence sustains her till the day she steals from the wrong man. Now with the hired goons of a Kowloon Master after her, she flies from alley to alley trying to find a nook or cranny where she may hide and save herself. As she runs, leaping and vaulting walls and boxes, she is hit by a car.

Destiny, it seems, is not content to let Kaoru remain unseen in the shadows. It throws her in the path of Enishi Yukishiro, one of the most fearsome Masters of Kowloon, also known as the White Tiger for his deadly skill and his swift and brutal punishment against those that wrong (or attempt to wrong) what is his. Enishi decides to take the injured bird under his wing. She is now safe; no man shall dare raise his voice or even his eyes to her. She belongs to Enishi now. She is safe but what will claim her life first? The golden cage where Enishi wants to keep her or the strange man who pushes his way inside Kowloon, a man of the law, who’s pledge is to see Kowloon and its Masters burn.

UPDATE - I have decided not to start this fic till I finish some of the others.

4. Strong Enough

Genre: Adventure/ Romance/Drama

Anime: Rurouni Kenshin

Rating: M for violence

Summary: Sano/ Megumi. Sano is an aimless guy who has no clue about what to do in life. His circumstances are tough on him because he unfortunately is part of a group of very driven, goal-oriented people. It seems as though everyone knows where they're headed and everyone is on some secret he doesn't know about. Everyone seems to be with the program, everyone except him.

5. The Crystal Veil

Genre: Action/Adventure/Supernatural/Romance

Anime: Rurouni Kenshin

Rating: M

Summary: Crysalis is a planet where the wild and untamed song of greed and desire rings through every soul. It is a world that has forgotten kindness, honour and sacrifice. Its rulers have become slaves to pleasure; pleasure that must be had at any cost. The people of Crysalis have become so accustomed to bending before the laws of their kings that they have even forgotten what it means to be human.

But still hope remains...for those who see the truth. Those who are not fooled by the mist of beauty pulled over the ugly reality of their world. A man who lives to preserve and protect the principles on which life began on this planet. A bandit who gives shelter to those discarded by the Kingdom. An embittered courtier who lives by his own sense of justice. A swordsman who is beginning to realise that something is amiss in the world. A young woman who holds the key to all the answers, whose wisdom and power can show them the way to end the tyranny that yolks them to slavery.

The die is cast, the game begins, all that remains is for the players to decide which side they stand on...
